A few days have passed smoothly. The tension between them was thick. Evelyn was in the phase of stillness. She didn't know where to go. The future that held uncertainty or to remain in the past that was full of despair and because of too much tension. Her present was depressing recently. She wanted to forget all those bad memories. Evelyn didn't want to spend the rest of her life dying every second just by reminiscing about those bad days. It would be torture for her. She wanted to leave everything behind and start new. She wants to forget and forgive but it was easier said than done. The girl was torn between herself. She wanted to move on and let go of the rope that was scraping her skin and hurting her but she didn't know how to do that. It was difficult. She wasn't a kind-hearted person or so. Because she remembers everything, her memory was good and now no matter how much she tries, she can't forget. And amidst these emotions playing tug and war inside her head. She was sc
She quietly served him and he stared at the steak as his mouth watered. They dug in the food and he loved it. The weather was nice and cold as the stars twinkled beautifully and the moon beamed at them. The relaxing silence engulfing them felt soothing. "I looked into something. If you want you could resume your studies privately from home. I had already talked with the head of your university about it. You don't have to worry about anything. Until there's a threat outside, you can continue studying from home only if you want," He added the last part instantly as she blinked at him. He was so kind to her that it was scaring her but she had to face her fear, otherwise she would stay stuck in that loop of darkness forever. She wasn't doing it for anyone else but rather for herself because she knew she deserves happiness. "Thank you, I'll get bored so it will be good if I could get back on with my studies," She said softly, staring at her food as Axel smiled while drinking his wine.
His lips molded against hers perfectly as he sucked on her lower lip. He licked the crack between her lips and they parted slowly. His tongue slid into her mouth. She caressed his tongue in a gentle stroke and he grunted from deep within his chest as he tilted his head, grabbed the back of her head, and deepened the kiss. Her eyes were closed tightly with her soft body flushed against his hard one, she could feel the hard contours of his body. His arm around her waist held her firmly as he devoured her mouth. She matched his pace but he easily dominated the kiss and she let him. His fingers on her scalp felt soothing. He wasn't stopping at all. She was half bending backward with him all over her. She needed to breathe but he wasn't stopping. She lightly patted his shoulder but the man was too far drowned in the kiss. In urgency, she bit on his lower lip hard enough to make him break the kiss as he pulled back and she took in large gulps of breath. Her chest heaving wildly as Axel
"Are you sure?" His thick voice sent shudders of excitement and fear down her spine. Was she ready? She has to be as he held the hem of her shirt tightly. She closed her eyes shut. Her affirmation. Letting go of her shirt he grabbed a fist full of her hair and tugged at them causing her to gasp as her eyes flew open."Words, Evelyn. I won't be stopping at just a kiss now. I need more. I need you. The whole of you. I want to devour you. I want to kiss every inch of your skin, leaving marks on your unblemished skin. I want to corrupt you in ways you're unaware of," He gritted. His voice restrained. She blinked at him with her rounded eyes. Her sparse breathing had stopped as she heard the lub-dub of her heart in her ears."I want to make love to you. I want to f*ck you. I'm yearning to claim you as mine, mind, heart, soul, and body, everything." His raspy breath tickled the soft flesh of her neck. His lips lingered over the shell of her ear. Her breath hitched."I want to be buried deep
Axel blinked open his eyes and sighed. He slept so well. His eyes followed the honey tresses on the pillow beside him. His arm was numb due to being in the same position for the whole night and there was a lightweight on the side of his body and small light puffs of hot air on his chest had him grinning like a fool. He tilted to glance down at her. Her fluffy cheek was squished against his chest and her lips were pouted. Even while asleep she looked so adorable. He wrapped his free arm around her and she snuggled more into his warmth. Axel softly caressed the side of her hip. Her skin was soft and tender against his hand. She was soft. She had the most amazing curves. Though she wasn't busty, she was just so perfect. He loved every inch of her. The way she felt last night, damn. He was in f*ckin heaven. And waking up to her in his arms was the best thing ever. Her intoxicating scent just drives him insane. The girl stirred in her sleep before she groggily opened her eyes and blin
The intense look in his eyes had her eyes lowered down. The way his gaze roved her body had her legs going jello. It was like he would eat her alive right now. "The food might get burnt," She said in a low voice and he smirked at how adorably she tried to change his attention from her to the food when all he wanted to do was eat her out for breakfast. "Come on, Jewel. Take a seat," He mused, pulling the chair out for her. She hobbled forward and he noticed the limp in her walk and felt bad but happy at the same time. His heart was in ecstasy and the surge of possessiveness was strong knowing he was her first in everything. She sat down as he finished cooking and served her the roasted potato and chorizo hash. Day by day he was getting good in the field of cooking. He served himself and sat opposite her. "Go ahead and tell me how it is?" He said and she lightly blew on the first morsel before taking the first bite. The taste melted on her tongue and she closed her eyes. "Mhmmm, so
The coffin was brought into the deadly silent hall as the men put it down and took a few steps back. The ominous silence was creeping into the terror that crackled in the air. Simon stalked over to the coffin and he stood near it for the longest of the time. Apollo breathed in sharply. With his hands clenched into fists he prowled to the coffin near Simon before he crouched down. The smell had him barfing but he controlled and motioned at the two of his men to open the coffin. They gulped before they leaned down and slowly opened the coffin and put it aside. Apollo's eyes widened as his heart dropped into the hollow of the dark abyss and he stood there frozen. Simon on the other stared at the corpse blankly. There in the coffin was the burnt corpse of Adonis. The only indication the person was Adonis was the ring on his thumb. "Brother," Apollo whispered shakily as he fell to his knees staring at the remains. The back of his eyes burned as tears gathered in his eyes. All the
'I hope this letter finds you well. If you're reading this that means I'm gone and it's far too late for you to look for me. Well, it would be peaceful if you don't look for me and just leave me alone. You might be thinking what happened to me, everything was so great but that wasn't the case, Axel Knight. All this time I spent with you was my twisted revenge. I just wanted to see how much you've fallen in love with me and the night I spent with you just deepened your so-called love. You must be wondering why I did that. It was because I wanted you to suffer more and hurt more. The same way you've hurt me and my brother. So naive of you to think that your lovey-dovey gestures would make me forget what you've done to me. You took my humanity away Axel. Did you think I'll forgive you just like that? Oh, sad for you. I'm not a kind soul. You've hurt me so now I've hurt you. I believe the score is settled now. If you dare to look for me I swear I'll kill myself. Haha, now you won
"Honey, can you zip it for me?" She asked as Axel, who was already staring at her, walked over. Ever so slowly he grabbed the zip before leaning down only to kiss her cold skin. She shivered at the touch, turning to glare at him but he didn't let her. He held her waist tightly before giving open-mouthed kisses on her back causing her back to arch up. "Axel, we'd get late," She complained. "But you smell delicious," He grumbled, licking her spine. She held the dresser tightly as her legs wobbled. Evelyn had already put on all the makeup and done her hair too. She can't let him ruin everything because he just got horny seeing her naked back. "Later, not now. I'm ready. I won't let you ruin my makeup, stop-ouch!" He bit on her skin nibbling the skin between his teeth before sucking on it. Her eyes flew wide as she abruptly turned around placing both of her hands on his chest to keep him at distance. "Stop, you'll tease me and I'll get all bothered and wet then you'll gro
"Where do you think you're going?" Axel murmured in his deep voice from beside her as he tightened his hold on her waist. She stared at the ceiling shocked. He was awake all this time and pretended to sleep. Evelyn slowly turned around in his embrace facing him. She cupped his cheek forcing his eyes to open. As soon as he saw her face a smile caressed his lips making her heart flutter. Five years have passed and he still looks at her the same way he did when he first confessed to her. Axel has told her multiple times that whenever he wakes up with her in his arms his day goes by beautifully. Though it was just a small thing Evelyn made sure to stay in his arms until he woke up. She wants every day of his life to be happy. After all, it was the little things that mattered the most. "You were awake all this time?" She asked grumpily and he only smiled. Squishing her closer to his chest. "I like it when you gape at me and poke my chest," He murmured, causing her face to turn crimso
Evelyn gently stroked his cheek. Her heart pounded in her ears. "Please, wake up." She breathed shakily but got no response from him. She was crying silently and with each passing second her heart fell into the bottom of endless sorrow. "Our son needs us, please, Axel." She wept to hold him close to her chest. She saw a few vampires sprinting out when they found Gabriel dead. Evelyn's heart dropped when she felt his pulse slowing down. He was dying. "Axel! Please, wake up!" She wailed cupping his cheek. Her body was giving up on her as she slowly drifted into darkness still holding him in her arms. A loud gasp left Axel's lips. His whole body jerked badly as his eyes shot open wide. Her hazy eyes stared at him in relief and she knew she could finally doze off in peace as the girl finally fell into darkness. Her whole body was aching and it felt too heavy and painful to even breathe. With much difficulty, she groggily opened her eyes, and the first thing she looked for
"No f*cking way," He said in disbelief before a grin broke through his lips and he was laughing like a maniac. Pulling back he stared at her from head to toe. "F*ck! You just gave birth, didn't you?" He mused not even believing himself. "Damn! This is absolutely like buying one and getting one free. No but why am I getting so happy about it? I should probably check if my assumption is right or not," He said to himself and stepped forward still choking her. A new rush of strength washed over her. With a low hiss, her canines extended out as she clawed at his face causing him to groan in pain as his hold loosened on her. Evelyn didn't stop there. She held his face and pierced her sharp protruding nail in his right eye making him scream out and he threw her away with force as held his bleeding eye. Her back hit the wall with force knocking all the breath out of her system as she fell on the floor wheezing. Pain shot through every pore of her being. "You bitch!" He sneered. Evelyn d
Evelyn heard whimpers of pain. It was faint but it was there and that wasn't it. She could hear the faint growls and rumbles. Her body felt as if tons of weights were placed on it. She tried to move but the task seemed impossible. She slowly blinked her eyes open only for them to widen in sheer fear. "Axel," She gasped, sitting upright in a jerk. Her eyes looked around frantically before she found her son cradled in a small blanket. His gray eyes peered at the ceiling with his tiny hands moving slightly. A sob of relief tore through her lips as she grabbed her baby before pulling him to her chest. Calmness washed over her as her heart pounded faster. Pulling him back she glanced at her baby in awe. His reddish newborn skin and eyes were like Axel's but his chin was like hers. The baby glanced at her before smiling and this was one of the most beautiful moments of her life. Evelyn kissed her baby on the nose. "Brittany," She whispered, looking around but she was nowhere in sight.
Axel growled at the number of vampires that surrounded him. The wizard lay dead under him as blood dripped from Axel's canines. His huge black wolf stood like a f*cking beast. His aura was dark and menacing as power oozed out of him in waves. A couple of his security men lay dead around them along with many vampire corpses. They were more in numbers. He was in a compromised condition but he believes that Daniel will be here soon. A sudden drop in the air had his head snapping to the front gate from where Gabriel was sauntering in with more vampires. The bastard was smiling casually as he stared at the dead bodies. Axel tensed up when Gabriel stared at the window to his room before his eyes met Axel's gold ones. "My. My. My. What's all this Axel?" He mused walking over to him as he stood at a few feet distance. Looking down he nudged the corpse of the vampire whose head was decapitated. Gabriel frowned before tilting his head to look Axel in the eyes. In response, the black wol
Evelyn let out muffled sobs with one hand she was clasping her mouth shut with the other hand she was fisting the sheets. Her heart was pounding wildly and the pain was too much to bear. With each passing second she felt like she would split into two. That wasn't the only pain she was feeling. The tremendous amount of fear and anxiety that enveloped her heart was maddening. Despite being in so much pain she was praying to God for the safety of Axel and her baby. She couldn't lose any of them. She could faintly hear the growls and hisses as there was a fight going on outside. Brittany's ears were still bleeding. She wiped the blood with a towel and made tissue balls before placing them in her ears. She was in pain. No one could hear the demonic mantra except for her because she was the only witch there except for that wizard. Brittany must deliver the baby and take Eve with her child to some safe place. She couldn't let Gabriel get his hands on Eve or the baby. She won't allow it.
Gabriel has become the Lord of the vampires a few months back. The dynamic of their world changes immensely. Luckily Gabriel didn't show any bridge to werewolves and declared he'll keep the treaty. As time passed Axel realized, he must have known by now that Evelyn was a forbidden child and no one has come after her which means he didn't want to mess with Axel. Axel thought he had to fight Gabriel if he came to kill Evelyn because hybrids weren't allowed to be born if they were born, they were killed. Axel was ready to fight him for Evelyn but he never thought that the sacred blood he talked about was Evelyn. A loud booming noise echoed through the surroundings as the whole mansion rattled with the vibration of it. Brittany's head snapped up as fear gnawed at her insides. "He's here," She whispered, panicking. She again tried to open a portal, it was halfway opened when shrill high pitched noise had her covering her ears as she fell to her knees in agony. "Brittany," Evelyn gasp
Brittany barged inside the room breathing heavily as her wild violet eyes searched for them. Evelyn gasped in shock as her eyes widened at the state of Brittany. Axel's jaw clenched seeing her condition. She has several bruises on her face and arms, also her forehead was bleeding badly. "Who did this?" He growled in a low voice.Though Axel didn't trust her in the start, when she approached him for help, he found out that whatever she did was for the safety of Evelyn. He began to trust her. That was the only reason he let her come into his mansion whenever she wanted. Also, Evelyn trusts her immensely so Axel has to as well. Though he wasn't fond of witches, Brittany was now a family and if there was a threat to her, he would deal with it without a second thought. He won't let anything happen to the family he has created from the ashes of his heartache and pain. "No," She whispered as her eyes fell on Evelyn. "You need to leave, both of you, hurry," Brittany said panicked as she d
