Evelyn grabbed his hand and tried to remove it but he was too powerful for her yet the girl didn't back down. She steadied her breathing and tried to build up power inside her. She clenched her teeth and screamed with all her might as she pushed at his hand and she was able to push it away from her skin a little before he sighed and shuffled for something in his pocket.

Her heart dropped when in a flash he pierced something into her neck. She didn't even have time to react as she stilled.

He let go of her neck as she stumbled back. Slowly needles started to prick her neck and the tip of her fingertips before slowly creeping into her veins.

Her head felt dizzy and she was thirsty all of a sudden. She lost her footing and grabbed the wall to balance herself.

Simon's smirking face had her inside rattling in fear. She knew if he kidnapped her now she wouldn't survive it, they would kill her.

She needs to escape.

A portal to her right opened. It was so close as a hand came out of it.
