Chapter 4: Losing Her Dignity

On the other hand, all of the city's and even the country's reporters were gathered in the Thousand Stars hotel, chit-chatting about this and that. 

"What do you think, what Mr. Spencer is going to announce here? Is he going to tell us about his new business or, is he going to get engaged with her long-time rumored partner Ms. Jane?"

One of the reporters inquired because they couldn't contain their excitement!

"How do I know? All I want to see is his godly figure, and that is all I'm here for!"

The lady reporter shook her head at the man beside her and looked around for the man in question!

"You pervert, stop lusting over men's bodies and do some real work here!"

"Shut up! I told you I'm already doing my best!"

They were still talking when the door to the conference hall was pushed open and a man in an all-black tuxedo walked in. 

He had a god-like figure and was about 181 metres tall. His figure was mouth-watering and made the women around him drool over him.

The man elegantly walked onto the stage and said, in a very polite manner,

"I'm very sorry on behalf of my boss, Mr. Spencer, as he should be the one to be present here, but other than him, I'm here to receive you guys!"

When Josh noticed that his boss was nowhere to be found, he understood that his heat cycle had arrived, which left him stunned. After all, that was not even the full moon yet; there was still an hour left, but strangely, his boss had left early.

They had calculated the time; all Travis had to do was be present there for an hour and rest; Josh would have taken care of it, but everything was ruined now.

And that was how Josh was in front of the drooling eyes of women, anticipating the eyes of men.

Although everyone knew it was not the man in question himself, somewhere in their hearts, they all could not help but wish for Mr. Spencer to appear sooner.

"Mr. Josh, with all due respect, we had been waiting for Mr. Spencer for over 2 hours, and he is not here! Can you please not break our hearts like that?"

One of the senior reporters said he tried his best to be as polite as possible.

"I'm so sorry for the delay and discomfort; something very important came up that only he could have handled, and we couldn't do anything about it!"

Josh tried his best not to anger them and to make them feel at ease with him as well. He knew they had waited for so long, but still, there was nothing he could do when his boss was in this condition.

All the reporters contemplated the situation but said nothing; after all, who could dare complain in front of Mr. Spencer?

Josh came forward and bowed his body by half and said, "Please forgive us, and do not forget to have your meal and also enjoy the party."

In the end, this was all he could say, as he had to look for his boss, and that was more important than anything else.

He left the conference room and went to the terrace immediately. He wanted to look for his boss as soon as possible; he knew if he could not reach him in time, he might harm someone and end up killing them to quench his thirst and lessen his heat, and this was not the place for him to do all these things.

Josh looked for him everywhere, but never once did the thought strikes his mind that Travis might be in the suite he had booked him for. After looking for him everywhere for around 5 to 6 hours, it suddenly came to his mind that he might have hidden himself in the suite.

“Oh no!” He exclaimed and ran back to the hotel.

In search of Travis, he had visited all the places where doubted he could be present, and in the end, he was in the forest nearby Travis’s mansion.

“Gosh, did he really lock himself in that room?” In a flash, he transported himself right in front of the suite.

Inside the suite, Travis was still on top of Sylvia and continued his deed. 

Sylvia wanted to escape but she could do nothing, she wished to die right then and there, but that wish was too superfluous to come true.

She lay on the bed, with her eyes closed, afraid of looking at the face in front of her. 

“Click,” Travis was still in his heat, and was not in his right mind the moment he possessed Sylvia’s body warmth.

He felt as if he belonged there, and he wanted to stay there forever, but too bad, he would not remember a thing after this, as always.

When he heard a sound, he loosened his hold on Sylvia and stood up. Scared of being caught, Sylvia gathered all the strength she had in her body and ran away to the washroom.

But she did not notice that before the door could be opened, it was shut once again.

Travis made a fist and clenched it, the door closed on its own. He was finally back to his senses.

He looked around to see why was he there, when his eyes fell on the white bedsheet, covered in blood, “Did I just kill someone here?” He looked around and felt a bit confused since he was stark naked.

This was all he could think, but it did not strike his mind that he had done something more heinous.

“Boss, are you there, I am coming in,” Josh said as he once again tried to unlock the door but before that Travis flicked his fingers and dressed up in an instant, and then he closed his eyes, in an instant, he was out of the suite, right in front of Josh.

“What the hell? What did you do all this time and where have you been?” Josh could not help but ask in a worried tone.

“Nothing, let’s go,” Travis replied in a cold tone.

As always, he could not tell what he had done. He had always contemplated this matter, the moment every time his heat cycle ends, he would just forget everything that he had done during that time.

"What? "Do you want me to believe you did not do anything and... did not kill anyone there?" Josh asked in shock.

“What do you want me to tell you? Do you not know that I could not remember after—” Travis couldn’t even complete what he wanted to say when Josh interrupted, “No, I mean to ask that, if you have seen any dead body around you, like the last time or every last times.”

‘Strange,’ thought Travis, he had not seen any dead body around him. 

Then what was that? Even though there was no dead body but the bedsheet was covered in blood. At that moment, he was in such a hurry that he almost forgot to notice other things around him.

“Whatever, let it be,” In the end, this was all he could say.

“Do you want me to go there and check to whom did you kill this time?” Josh asked as he rolled his eyes.

Irritated Travis walked away from there and did not say anything, he was himself not sure what he had done. Now all he could do was to wait and see whom he had killed last night in the news.

On the other hand,

Sylvia had run away to the washroom and had locked herself there. She waited for them to leave, and when she felt that no one was there anymore, she came out and looked around only to find the bloody bed, and her torn uniform.

She sat on the ground in helplessness and cried for a long time, unsure where to go and whom to tell. It was not like she was forced, since she had walked towards him on her own. She could not even claim to be used in this case. She hated herself even more than that guy, who did all these things to her.

Why did all these things happen to her and what had she done wrong to deserve all these things? 

All kinds of questions came to her mind but she had no answers to them. At the moment, all she wanted was to dig a hole and bury herself forever. 

She had no one in her life and all she had was her dignity which was crushed under that man’s hand.

“No, you… you can’t let the hotel authorities know this,” She stood up in a haste and went to the wardrobe and took out a white shirt, thankfully her skirt was not torn and could still be used.

She put her clothes on and with her shaky body, she cleaned the room and the bed. 

“I need this money so much, how could I leave here,” She mumbled as her body shook in pain every now and then.

Sylvia had never felt this helpless in her life before, she had just been through something that would make any girl kill herself, but for some reason, she had a strong desire to live and that was why she was still on her foot, with her shaky body and cheeks wet with tears.
