It was finally the day for the duel and Elosie was very ready exuding confidence as she walked with Maria to the pack’s square.

When she got there, she met all the girls waiting there and the pack members, with the pack council, which includes, Alex, Nelson and Maya.

“We are here because some pack members challenged our luna to a duel and anyone that wins becomes the new luna. Note this is a fight till death, or renouncement.

If you don’t want to die, you’ll renounce yourself as a pack member and go rogue,” a council member said and everyone gasped.

“The duel is about to start, are you sure you want to partake in it. If you don’t want to, you can accept defeat and face punishment which I promise you is way better than dying,” Maya said to the girls.

Out of the ten girls five of them accepted defeat and knelt down before Elosie saying they were sorry.

They were dragged out by the guards, while the remaining five stood confidently to face Elosie.
