CHAPTER 18

Alex’s POV

She reached out to hold me when Rex came out from the crowd and held her hand, she looked at him and said “mate.”

Suddenly I had a flashback to when I entered my room to see it all scattered and I looked at the floor and saw the warning in blood that said “FINAL WARNING, LEAVE MY MATE ALONE!” and when my tracker said the person that did it was Rex.

Rex’s mate is my mate? He wants me to leave my mate? Never! I thought to myself.

I looked to my beta and gamma and I could see the shock on their faces, then Elosie ran out of the ballroom and Rex followed and so did I and everyone else.

Suddenly she started screaming and her bones started snapping out of place and reforming as she was shifting, it was her first time and it is always very painful.

I wanted to hold her and help her through the pain but a light shone upon her as she completed her shifting and it was the wolf from my dreams and the lady from my dreams appeared. She put a crown on her head and disappeared.
