My fingers tapped the desk. I had been staring at the paperwork in front of me for fifteen minutes. Reading the same line for fifteen minutes. I tapped my phone, looking at the time. It was almost noon. I tried to remember when I had gone over last Sunday but I couldn’t remember. I finally set down the paper and reorganized my desk.
After the shock of what she had done to Morgan, what she had said, all three of us had stayed away from training for the week. I knew Bryan went over for a little bit, just to tell her we wouldn’t be able to come by because of work. It was more than just that and I knew Auri would see right through him. Through all of us.
“Damn it.” I had to stop myself from throwing the paperwork on the floor. Leaning back in my chair, I turned to look outside the window.
