~ Ralph

I felt a surge of anger building up inside me as I watched her intently. She was staring at him while he cooked, and a familiar sense of irritation took hold. I didn’t like the way they were looking at each other, nor did I appreciate the way she smiled at him.

The sight of her expression only fueled my anger. “So, you really like this, huh? A man who can cook for you and do things that you enjoy?” I asked sharply.

She turned to me, confusion evident on her face. “I don’t mean it like that,” she said quickly. “I just think it’s nice that he can do things on his own and isn’t just waiting around for someone else to do them for him.”

“So you think the others can’t do things for themselves?” I interrupted, not giving her a chance to finish. She tried to clarify, but I wasn’t in the mood to listen. Instead, I grabbed an apron and tied it around myself, ready to jump into the situation.

“Let me show you what a real man can do in the kitchen,” I said with determination.

Otsana "You absolutely have to teach me how to make this dish! I need to know the recipe because it tastes just incredible," I exclaimed, savoring every single bite as the flavors danced on my tongue. Alec chuckled softly, watching me with a look of amusement in his eyes as I devoured the meal with enthusiasm. His gaze lingered on me longer than I expected, and I suddenly felt a bit self-conscious. Was I eating too fast? Did I have something on my face? Or maybe I was doing something wrong that I hadn’t noticed? "Is everything okay?" I asked, unable to hide the growing unease I felt under his steady, almost intense, stare. He shook his head slightly and smiled. "Don't worry about it. I'm just... fascinated, I suppose. It's not often I see someone enjoying my cooking this much." I couldn't help but laugh, finding it hard to believe that anyone wouldn't appreciate his culinary skills. "You must be joking! This is absolutely amazing," I said, my voice filled with genuine admiration.

~Ralph At that moment, I felt completely lost. The weight of everything that was happening was pressing down on me, threatening to crush me under its sheer force. The situation was spiraling out of control, and despite all the power I wielded as the alpha, I felt helpless. There was only one person I could think of who might be able to help, and the thought of relying on him made my stomach turn. Alec, with that insufferable grin plastered across his face, sat down across from me. It was as if he was enjoying my misery, relishing the fact that I was now the one coming to him. The smug look in his eyes made me want to rip him apart, but I couldn’t afford to let my emotions get the better of me. I had to play this carefully. “What’s up?” he asked casually, as if we were old friends catching up over drinks instead of facing a life-and-death crisis. His nonchalance only fueled my anger, but I forced myself to remain calm. Losing my temper wouldn’t do me any good right now. I glanced ov

~Otsana "A day into the Rogue attack" I felt my heart racing as I ran through the forest, with Kate by my side. The sounds of battle echoed around us as the rogues attacked our pack. I could hear the snarls and growls of the enemy wolves, their vicious attacks on my fellow pack members. I knew I had to find somewhere to hide, but where? Every direction I turned seemed to lead to danger. I looked at Kate, her eyes wide with fear. "We have to find somewhere to hide," I whispered, my voice shaking. "They're everywhere." We ran deeper into the forest, branches and leaves scratching at our faces as we tried to escape the chaos. The sounds of battle grew more distant, but I knew the rogues were still close. Suddenly, I heard the rustling of leaves behind us. I spun around, my heart in my throat. There, standing just a few feet away, was a rogue wolf, its fur matted with blood. I let out a scream and stumbled backward, tripping over a root. As I fell, I caught a glimpse of the rogue lun

~Ralph The tunnel was darker and more foreboding than I had ever imagined. Shadows seemed to swallow the dim light from the flickering torch I held, leaving everything else in a thick, oppressive blackness. Each step echoed ominously against the damp walls, a constant reminder that danger could be lurking in any corner. I was thankful I had brought Callan with me—his presence behind me provided a small comfort in this eerie place. He had stayed close throughout our journey, silent but steadfast. There was no other light but our torch, no sound but our breathing and the distant, unsettling whispers that seemed to come from the walls themselves. The uncertainty of time gnawed at me; I couldn’t tell whether it was day or night anymore. The darkness in the tunnel was all-consuming, leaving me disoriented. "Alpha," Callan's voice broke the silence. I turned to face him, curiosity mixed with a hint of irritation. "What is it, Callan? Don’t tell me you’re thinking of backing out now," I s

~Otsana I gazed up at the faint sliver of sunlight that pierced through the small peephole in my dungeon. It was a cruel reminder of the world outside, a world I hadn’t seen for nearly three days. My throat burned with thirst, and my stomach twisted painfully with hunger. It felt like an eternity since I had tasted food or water, and my strength was rapidly fading. Cabin, the man who held me hostage, was a monster. That much I knew for certain. The mere thought of him filled me with a deep, seething hatred. He was the kind of man I couldn’t stand to be around for even a second. The resentment I harbored for him was overwhelming, and it only grew with each passing hour in this miserable place. Suddenly, the heavy door to the dungeon creaked open, and I squinted against the sudden influx of light. My heart skipped a beat when I saw who stood in the doorway. It was Callan and Jasper. Relief surged through me at the sight of them, but a pang of disappointment followed when I realized R

~Otsana It's been two days since Ralph returned, and I couldn’t shake the persistent urge to check on him. I didn’t exactly know why. It wasn’t like he cared about my sympathy or would even acknowledge it, but the need lingered. Maybe it was my subconscious trying to connect with him in a way that defied logic. Regardless, I found myself standing outside his office, heart racing. The thought of entering his office made my nerves jangle. I wasn’t sure what kind of reaction I’d get from him. Would he be cold? Dismissive? Or worse, angry? Still, I couldn’t seem to let it go. I had already brewed him a cup of coffee, something simple, yet it felt like an offering, a peace gesture that I wasn't even sure he would appreciate. I took a deep breath, then another, gathering my strength before knocking on the door. When the door finally opened, my anticipation plummeted. It wasn’t Ralph who answered, but Callan. He stood there with a welcoming smile, his presence immediately putting me somew

~Ralph I couldn’t shake the thought of the rogues lurking out there, planning their next move. Every fiber of my being screamed that they were waiting, biding their time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike again. I sat in a dimly lit room with Callan and my brother, Jasper, discussing strategies. My frustration was reaching a boiling point. “We can’t let them strike again,” I yelled, slamming my fist down on the bed, the anger consuming me. “We need to find them before they come for us again.” I tried to get up, to do something, anything. But my body, weakened from the brutal journey back, betrayed me. I collapsed back onto the bed, my muscles trembling with exhaustion. I hated this—hated feeling so powerless, so vulnerable. Every part of me wanted to get out there and hunt them down myself, but I was still too weak from the battle, the long, arduous trek back that nearly killed me. My mind was sharp, but my body refused to cooperate. “I have to get up,” I muttered through g

~Otsana Ever since I discovered that Alpha Ralph enjoyed the coffee I made, I’d been secretly sending him a cup every morning, though I had to use another maid to deliver it. He disliked me now—no, he hated me—and I was sure that was the reason he never wanted me near him. Still, I wasn’t trying to force myself into his life or expect a sudden change in our relationship. I just wished he would acknowledge me like he used to, I feel his current situation was my fault, I pushed him to that journey, if only I hadn't been captured by the rogues, maybe Ralph would still be nice to me. Even a little recognition or a small nod of approval from him, would’ve meant the world to me. Instead, he always kept his distance, treating me like I was invisible or worse, a nuisance. But still, I sent him the coffee, hoping that one day it might change his view, even if just a little. “Hey!” Kate’s voice broke through my thoughts like a splash of cold water. “Are you alright? ~OtsanaSitting at the long, polished mahogany dining table, I stared down at my plate. Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and a vibrant assortment of steamed vegetables were arranged neatly, but I had no appetite. Across from me sat Noah, his piercing eyes fixed on me as he ate in silence. I could feel the weight of his gaze, but he hadn’t spoken a word to me since we sat down. The tension between us was noticeable, lingering like a storm cloud. After what had happened between us—his sudden Nate oull, the forceful way he brought me here—I knew he was struggling to bridge the silence, but I didn’t intend to make it easy for him.Noah’s fork clinked against his plate as he set it down. He gestured to one of the chefs standing nearby. “Bring more food,” he ordered. “She needs energy for the mating ceremony ritual tomorrow.”I froze, my fork halfway to my mouth. “What mating ceremony?” My voice was sharp, my heart hammering in my chest. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms as if th

I turned sharply, already irritated. “Who is it?” I barked, my voice carrying the edge of frustration that had been simmering all day.“It’s Lilith,” came the soft reply from the other side of the door.I froze. Lilith? I hadn’t seen her in dsys, not since the debacle with Grayson. What the hell was she doing here? I yanked the door open, and there she stood, a shadow of the woman I once knew. She had lost so much weight; her once-bright eyes now seemed dimmed with exhaustion. “Can I come in?” she asked softly, her voice almost timid. It was a far cry from the fiery woman I remembered.I nodded stiffly. “Sure.”She stepped inside, and I couldn’t help but stare as she walked past me. Her frame was frail, her movements careful, as if she feared breaking. She made her way to the sofa and sat down, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She took a deep breath before speaking.“I know you’re surprised to s

~RalphIt had been seven days since Otsana disappeared. Seven excruciatingly long days. I kept replaying the last moments I saw her, hoping for a clue, something I’d missed. Each passing second felt like a failure. The guilt gnawed at me like a ravenous beast. Now, driving back to the Greyhound Pack after helping Jasper secure the Silverwaters Pack, my patience was wearing thinner than ever. The car hummed softly as it sped down the winding forest road. Jasper, seated next to me, had been trying to strike up a conversation for the past twenty minutes, his voice grating against my already frayed nerves. “Ralph, I appreciate you stepping in back there,” he said cautiously, testing the waters. “I couldn’t have claimed Silverwaters pack without you.” I didn’t respond, my eyes fixed on the road ahead. He tried again. “It’s good to see you in action, you know. Reminded me of the old days, back when—” “Stop,” I snapped, cutting him off mid-sentence. My hands tightened around the st

~OtsanaThe mate bond between us was undeniable, pulling me toward him with a force I could hardly resist. But my love for Ralph, my commitment to him, held me back.I quickly broke free from him, and gathered my clothes, my hands trembling as I dressed. "Noah, you need to leave," I said, my voice shaky but firm. "We can't do this."Noah's eyes searched mine, a mixture of longing and regret. "I'm sorry, Otsana," he murmured, standing up from the bed and dressing up. "I didn't mean to overstep."I avoided his gaze, clutching my clothes to my chest as if they could shield me from the whirlwind of emotions inside me. "Please, just go," I whispered. He hesitated for a moment, then nodded, turning to leave. As the door closed behind him, the weight of what had just transpired crashed over me. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I sank onto the bed, sobbing uncontrollably.Ebony, my wolf, stirred within me. "Why did you push him away?" she asked, her voice filled with confusion. ~NoahThe moment Otsana stormed out of the garden, I ran my hand through my hair in frustration. My heart felt like it had been split in two. How could she reject me like that, especially after the connection we just shared? My wolf, Fridolf, was restless, pacing in my head like a caged animal. "We can't let her go, Noah. She belongs to us," he growled, his voice edged with desperation. "Not now, Fridolf," I replied sharply, trying to keep my composure. "Now is the perfect time! Did you see her? Ebony wants me as much as I want her. You’re being ridiculous." Fridolf was in heat, and his longing for Ebony was making him impossible to reason with. I tried to calm him, but he wouldn’t stop. "You’re ruining this. Calm down, Fridolf! She’s not ready. I won’t scare her off," I said, trying to walk away from the pull I felt toward her. But Fridolf wasn’t having it. The mate pull between us was like a magnetic force, yanking me back every time I tried to resist. His thoughts becam

  • Alpha or Lycan : Otsana's Dilemma    Chapter 78

~OtsanaThe room was I was given was breathtaking. It felt more like a palace than a living space. Every inch of it screamed luxury, from the silk curtains that shimmered under the sunlight to the polished marble floors that reflected the glow of a massive crystal chandelier. The bed was grand, its headboard carved with intricate patterns of wolves and vines, draped with gold-threaded sheets. For a fleeting moment, I wondered if I even belonged here. The maids buzzed around me like worker bees, attending to every little thing. They had insisted on helping me bathe earlier, scrubbing my skin with oils that smelled of lavender and jasmine, washing my hair with the gentlest hands. Now they were fussing over my hair, styling it into elegant waves that cascaded down my back, and adjusting the gown they had chosen for me—a deep emerald green that hugged my figure perfectly, glittering faintly in the light. One of the maids stepped forward, holding a small golden crown in her hands, the

~RalphMy jaw clenched at the thought of Otsana, her image vivid in my mind. Where was she? Was she safe? Every scenario that crossed my mind made my heart ache with helplessness. I barely had time to collect myself when I noticed Jasper walking toward me, that ever-present smirk plastered on his face. His relaxed gait, the smug tilt of his chin, made my fists clench involuntarily. “Rough night, Alpha?” he sneered, stopping a few feet away. His mocking tone made my blood boil. “What do you want, Jasper?” I spat, not bothering to hide the venom in my voice. He extended a hand toward me, the gesture more mocking than genuine. “Here to help you up. You look like you could use it.” I stared at his hand for a long second before scoffing and pushing myself to my feet. “I don’t need your help,” I snapped, the words sharp and final. Before I knew it, my fist swung forward, connecting with his jaw. The satisfying crack echoed in the silence. Jasper stumbled back, his hand flying to

~RalphThe courtyard was suffused with a golden glow from the lanterns strung across the towering oaks. Every inch of the space screamed celebration, from the rows of white chairs adorned with garlands to the lavish buffet tables groaning under the weight of every delicacy imaginable. The scent of roasted venison mingled with the earthy aroma of the forest, a stark reminder of the traditions I detested. This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a statement, a spectacle designed to broadcast power and unity. My power. But I had no intention of letting it end the way they all hoped. My heart raced as I took my place near the altar. The ceremonial arch loomed ahead, an intricate weave of silver and gold ribbons that framed the full moon perfectly. It would have been beautiful if it weren’t a symbol of my impending doom. I smoothed the lapels of my jacket, trying to keep my breathing steady. Everything hinged on tonight.“Didn’t think you’d show, Ralph.” Grayson’s voice slid into my ear like an
