I watched the scene unfold before my eyes, I know Livia can take care of herself, that's why I didn't meddle and faced my food.

The events of this past few days has made me understand the changes i had undergo when i was fifteen. I remember vividly that night that I was feeling pains all over my body. Luckily for me, Mom gave me a greenish liquid which I later find out its wolfs bane. She said she had to put my wolf at bay until the right time comes and I guess it's the right time.

Truth to say, I don't know how Livia is going to find HIM but I'm willing to help my sister. The sound of something splashing on Livia's face got me out of my reverie as I started at her in shock.

My back was turned to the culprits but I know they were females judging by their voice. I growled silently, holding the spoon way harder, i could feel my fingers elongating into claws. I was about to stand up when I heard a deep growl followed by "How dare you!!".

We all looked in the direction of the voice, that definitely doesn’t sound human, I know a wolf when I hear one. But I thought this is a human college??

Then I saw a very hot guy well aside from the one Livia bumped into earlier.

"Stay on your lane Dana, don't cause trouble!!" He said his hands in his pocket.

I was wondering who he was when a sweet smell invaded my nose. A mixture of lily and sandalwood. I inhaled deeply and realized that the smell is coming from the stranger "MATE!!" Star my wolf screamed in my ear.

I was surprised because I didn't believe id see my mate on the first day of school and to think that he'd stand up for a girl he doesn’t know, wow I'm proud of him already.

"Stay outta my way Kelvin!!" The girl Dana said before leaving the room with her minions.

I remained quiet as I stayed glued to my spot, I didn't know what else to do. I mean am I supposed to jump into his arms and tell him am his mate??? Nahhh I don't think that should be it. He's not a wolf, I didn't smell that on him, but who growled???

"Here, you should use this and then go to the restroom!!" I could hear Kelvin saying handing her his jacket.

"Thanks...for all this!!" Livia said smiling. I could feel myself getting jealous and Star prancing in my head. I think the mate bond is already at work. Luckily, mom had already explained all this shit about mates to me.

I watched him turn on his heels and leave the cafeteria. "I can take you to clean up if you want!!" I heard a timid voice.

"Yeah sure thank you __!!!" Livia trailed off at a loss for her name.

"Claire!!" The girl supplied "this way!!" She added leading us out of the cafeteria amidst stares and a shocked expression on everyone's face.

We walked silently to the restroom, Claire and Livia at the front while I behind them. In contrast to Livia, Claire has a short brown hair and is wearing glasses. She looks like the nerdy type. We got to the restroom and I watched Livia go in leaving both of us alone outside the door.

It was awkward for a while before I finally speak up "I'm Tessa, but you can call me Tess." I said smiling lightly at her.

She adjusted her glasses before replying " and I'm Claire, we took the same class this morning, sorry about your friend!!"she added.

"Actually she's my sister but it's fine, at least you aren't the culprit" I replied "but who's that bitch, and why does everyone have this surprised look on their faces??" I asked.

"Ohh, you mean Dana, she's the mayor's daughter and everyone is probably surprised cause no one had ever stand against Dana and definitely not her brother!!" She said turning a little bit pink.

"Okay, they are siblings? And I'm lost, what's a mayor??" I asked confused.

She blinked her eyes not really sure if I was being serious before replying "well a mayor is like a governor of a province or country and yes, they are siblings but they don't like each other and stay out of each others ways" She said looking at me I guess to see if I got her explanation.

"Yeah sure thanks!!" I added and decided to shut up before saying something stupid again.

Just then Livia stepped out of the restroom looking all refreshed and new "thank you so much Claire, I really appreciate the gesture!!" She said clasping unto Claire's two hands. I rolled my eyes knowing my sister is already in thanksgiving mode. I sighed deeply resting my back on the wall, I need to approach my mate but I don't know how. My hands are all sweaty just thinking about him.

"It's okay Livia. Uhm can I call you that??" I heard Claire asking.

"Yeah sure thing Claire you can!!" Livia said smiling sweetly.

"Okay, thanks Livia, I gotta run, see you later!!" She said before running out of the hallway.

We watched her retreating back for like a minute before putting my hand on Livia's back “Now what do you say we teach those bitches a lesson!!" I smirked evilly.

"No!!" She simply said. I was shocked and walked around to face her fully "what do you mean No??" I asked confused.

"Well instead of getting back at them, why don't you tell me why you were staring at that semi hot guy??" She asked winking.

I averted my gaze and looked at the floor shyly "awwwnn, my little sis is blushing!!" She gushed.

"Eww, stop that Livia!!" I said walking ahead of her.

She laughed out loud running towards me. Looking at her now, she looks more relaxed well since mom told us the story "hold up!!" She shouted running to meet me before hanging her hands on my shoulder "so tell me, what's got you blushing??" She asked her voice going low.

"Well he's my mate!!" I replied stopping in my tracks to look at her. She was speechless for a while, her eyes growing wide and not blinking “Livia!!! Are you okay???"i asked poking a finger in her chin.

She blinked once, then twice before speaking up "you found your mate???" She asked a little too loudly.

I rolled my eyes before answering" yes, you might not be mom's real daughter, but you're both dramatic!!" I added. She smiled tucking her hair behind her ears. “Then we need to go find him!!" She added.

"Yes we need to, but we need to first find out if there's any other supernatural amongst us!!" I whispered. I saw her eyes widen in surprise "Did you also hear that??" She asked.

"Yes I did, and we're gonna find out who it is!!" I replied.
