Ethan's POV

"I said I was the one that shot your brother" She stuttered wearing a faint smile, she knew very well that I was pissed and felt like strangling her to death at that spot but i felt pity on her knowing that she didn't do it willingly she must have been forced to do it, the force of the hate between two Alphas must have triggered the attack and hence her making the shot.

"What made you take the shot? I know you don't have that killer instincts in you so tell me what made you take that shot and knowing that you didn't miss," I inquired slowly, evading all my anger and that was definitely the best I could do at that point.

"That was the test to prove my loyalty, because I vowed never to get aligned with a mate or a lover, because I wanted the throne, i wanted to be the leader that's why I'm getting married to a man who's weak so indirectly I'll be the Queen of these lands" She divulged, staring into my eyes

"Your father made you take these shots to prove loyalty"
