Over the next few weeks, the pack will try to apologize to Ashly and Allen, but the duo is having none of it. Why would they? The pack normally ignores them, so why all of a sudden are they interested in the two now?
"We know we did the wrong things, but can you please talk to us? Ok, if you don't want to talk to me, I understand, but please talk to Monika. I beg Ashly, who is busy with her books,
Simon and Alex are both with him. Monika really tries to talk to Ashly, but Ashly completely ignores her. And at the end, she ends up crying her eyes out.
Ashly ignores TypePause and flips the page.
"Look, Ashly, we understand you are hurt. You don't deserve such treatment from your own parents, but Monika didn't do anything. She doesn't even know about you. Type and Monika even leave their parents. Can you please give them one chance?" This time, Alex tries to beg.
It's the first time Alex begs someone; he never begs, he only demands or orders. And he never expected to beg Omega in a million years.
"It's none of my business."
"Huh?"
They all asked in unison when they finally heard Ashly's voice.
"It's none of my business; they leave their parents house because they want to. And both of them are grown up already; they need to earn for themselves, and then only they will know the value of money." Ashly answered them and closed her book dramatically.
"And you guys want to talk to me, why? Because I am your sister, if only I..."
"No, we want to talk to you and get to know you because you are our amazing sister. You are a strong person." Type-cut Ashly in the middle of her sentence.
Ashly looked at him with her boring eyes for two minutes, and then she rolled her eyes dramatically and left.
Which makes Alex, Type, and Simon roll their eyes well.
"Damn, I thought your sister was only a pain in the ass, but she is a fucking drama queen." Alex massaged his temper, and Simon shook his head.
"I know, Alex, I know," Type said, and he really wanted to know what his evil mother ate during her pregnancy.
Monika is such a crybaby, and Ashly is such a drama queen.
Allen had a social studies class with Alex and Monika. After shedding many tears, Monika finally clammed down when Type and Sam teased her about her runny nose.
They both sat by her when the teacher told them to work in groups of three. Allen went to get up but was stopped by Monika as she grabbed her wrist. Allen eyed her dangerously, telling Monika to let go of her wrist before she broke it. Monika got the hint and let go.
Alex's eyes become wide when he sees Monika's lips start shaking, and she is ready to cry.
"Hey, hey Moni It's not like Allen hates you. It's just that omegas don't like it when anyone touches them without permission. Please don't cry." Alex tries to console Monika, who is already sniffing.
"Ok," she said while wiping her tears.
Allen's eyes became wide. My god, Monika is such a drama queen, like her sister.
Allen sighed and stared at the two of them. "What do you two want? Obviously, you can't take no for an answer, so what is it?" She snapped or tried; she didn't want to make Monika sad. Or she will be sure that Monika will cry her eyes out. Maybe her eyes really pop out because of all the crying.
"Look, we know you don't like us, but we are really sorry for Pink and Earth. I even kicked them out of my pack for trying to harm the two of you. Not that you need protection, but please. Could you all just give us a chance? We aren't bad people, I promise. We won't do anything to ever hurt you. I actually want to ask Ashly out on a date." Alex said it directly, and Monika looked at him.
"You can't do this, Alex; you are supposed to help me. WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU SETTLING? I DIDN'T EVEN TALK TO MY SISTER PROPERLY, AND YOU ALREADY DREAM OF FUCKING HER." Monika screams and cries harder, which makes both Alex and Allen widen their eyes.
Allen doesn't know what to do; she tries hard to control herself from laughing in front of a crying person. But Monika is incredibly adorable, and damn, she and Ashly are remarkably similar, with the exception of crying.
"Hey Monika It's ok, please don't cry."
Monika nodded while wiping her tears again.
Allen looked at Alex with wide eyes and shook his head. "Why do you want to date her? Is this some sort of trick?"
"Ashly doesn't need this in her life right now. She has too much going on. Consequently, if this is a ploy to get into her pants, I will castrate you right now, and I don't care if I go to jail for attempted murder because I will escape, and when I do, I will return to finish the job. So think about your answer carefully." Allen said in a dark voice.
"Yeah, you are right. Tell me, Alex, why you want to date my sister." Monika joined Allen, which made Alex shake his head.
Alex looked at Allen with wide eyes and a hint of pride.
Type, however, who is standing outside the class and hearing everything, looked horrified towards the Omega. He didn't know Omegas were so violent, but growing up in one must have been hard, so he understood why Allen has tough skin, but damn, this girl is lethal.
"I like her. But the reason is that I believe she is my mate. Her scent lures me in, and I find myself walking in her direction, but she walks away before I can talk to her." Alex looks sad as he thinks about the many attempts he's made to get Ashly's attention.
"Stupid idiot!" Allen yells out, reaching for her phone to send a text to someone. Alex and Monika look at each other and then back at her. Allen smiles as she reads the text and puts her phone away before the teacher confiscates it.
"Don't worry, Moni, you don't need to cry anymore; I settled everything," Allen teased her last time before she started doing her work.
On the other hand, Type forgets why he came here in the first place.
Alex and Monika give her a confused look but decide to ask later.
When class ends, Alex and Monika basically run behind Allen.
"Allen stop!" Monika screams to make Allen stop, who is basically running.
Everyone gave her and Alex a confused look.
Why is the most bad-assed group in their school running behind some ordinary omegas? But then they remember what Ashly and Allen did the other day. Well, not ordinarily omega then.
"Huh? What happened? Why are you guys chasing me like lunatics?" Allen asked when Monika and Alex came and stood in front of her.
She looked around and saw everyone looking at them.
"Don't you have class or what?" She raised her eyebrows and gave them the 'I will kick your ass' look, which made everyone leave immediately.
Then she turned around and looked towards Alex and Monika.
"What?" She hissed, which made both of them fitch.
"Ummmm. What happened? You said you would help us. Who do you call? And why are you running away from us?" Monika starts babbling nonsense, which makes Alex massage his temper.
"Wow, wow, girl, clam down. I am not running away; I have a class that I already missed, and yes, I will help you guys, but I can't promise anything. Last but not least, whom do I call? Well...."
"What?" Alex and Monika ask in unison, and Allen smiles at them.
"Well, you will have to ask her father for permission first. Adom is the coolest guy you would ever meet, but if you're trying to play his daughter, he won't hesitate to kick your ass. He is really protective of Ashly; he loves her more than anything. and the same goes to Ashly. So if you really want Ashly in your life, you have to do two things. First, talk to Adom and get his permission; second, respect Adom. Ashly can forgive you once for disrespecting her, but she will never forgive those who disrespect her father."
"So yeah, I will give you the directions to Ashly's house, and you'll meet her father. You better go after class because Ashly goes straight home and then to work. Adom has also asked for you all to hide your cars; Ashly would know if something is off when you park in front of her house."
"You're saying it like she's James Bond or something. How would she even know that we were there?" Monika asked curiously. Her sister seems like a really cool person, and she is really excited to learn everything from her.
Allen tilted her head and looked at Monika carefully. "Just as I know, you haven't slept for three weeks. You try to hide it with your make-up, but anyone who pays attention to close detail could see the bags under your eyes. Which indicates that something major has happened in your life and you aren't coping well. You must have found out that Ashly was telling the truth about her being your sister and about her ignoring you every time you wanted to speak to her. It hurts so much that you cry yourself to sleep. I can also tell that you have a habit of biting your nails when you get nervous, as the paint is chipping off. You also haven't warned your parents about the perfume you normally use, which means you either ran out of it or left it at your parents house when you moved out. And I know you are so excited to know your sister; give her all your love and also learn all her tricks so you can kick your mate's ass, who always teases you for your runny nose. Which is really cute, I think. Now should I keep going or do you get my drift?"
Alex and Monika stared at Allen in shock. What kind of upbringing did these two omegas have exactly? It's like they were trained by the freaking CIA or something. Alex recovered first. "Ashly can do that too? You know the thing you did now?"
Allen smiled and nodded. "You'll be surprised what Ashly can do. She is well trained, and Adom never wants her to depend on her Alpha. Even though her Alpha turned out to be a good man, Adom always taught her to stand up for herself, but hey, I am not in the place to tell you guys all these things. You'll find out when you talk to her father. After your talk, I expect to see you at the bakery. Ashly and I work there. You attempted to beg her for a second chance while attempting to be dramatic because, man, that sh*t is dramatic as hell. And when I say I expect you to see me at the bakery, it's meaning the whole pack; if you want us to give you a chance, then show us you mean it."
"And you, Monika, don't stress yourself out too much. You're too beautiful to have wrinkles. She'll talk to you when she's ready; don't worry. She can't resist you because you are too cute to resist. She is just hurt; even though she doesn't show it, I know my best friend. She needs you as much as you need her. Well, for Type, he needs to work harder because every time Ashly sees him, she just wants to punch him in the face. But you should go now. Adom is waiting for you."
"And don't disturb me; I already missed my important class. So fuck off, stupid idiots," Allen hissed, leaving the place.
The bell rang, and both Alex and Monika ran out of the classroom to fetch the other members of the pack and head to Ashly's house. This was going to be a long day, Alex thought to himself as they drove off in the direction of another part of the city.
After an hour later, they finally reach their destination, and they can't believe their eyes when they enter one of the posh areas of their city. A normal person can't afford to live here. Even Alex and Monika are Type parents. Yes, they all come from rich backgrounds, but they still can't afford it. Why the hell does Ashly work at Backery if she is already a loader? But again, Monika and Alex remember Allen's words. Ashly's father wants to make her independent. He doesn't want her to depend on anyone, not even himself and his money. "Did your mother and father know about this? Like they threw her out, but it looks like she's got a better life than you two?" Sam asked, which made Type and Monika shake their heads. "Yeah, even Ashly doesn't like spending her dad's money, but at the end she will have everything. Your sister is absolutely incredible. I thought she worked because she needed money, but she looks like money is the last thing she needs in her life." Simon also commented wh
Five of them look at Adom in a horrifying way, which makes him burst into laughter. Kids these days... Sam tilted his head, looking at Adom for a moment. "Were you in the military or something? Because their fighting style mimics something like it. It's far from the regular black belt kids in our school." The others agreed. Well, there are many black belt kids in their school; even Alex is a black belt, but damn, those two are really something else. "Yes. I was a Navy Seal in Special Forces. But I retired and went into the music business. I became a big producer for the circle, but after Jia and Jones gave up Ashly like she was nothing, I quit and started my own company. You may have heard of it. Ashly Inc. Whatever I earn in my life, it all belongs to Ashly and Allen if they want." "One minute, you mean Ashly Inc., one of the best styling brands in our country?" Monika asks with wide eyes, which make Adom laugh. "Yes, Monika, Ashly, Inc. is one of the best styling brands in our
Alex will take a deep breath and close his eyes. He will control himself; he will not let Alpha take him over. He wants their relationship to start with love, not lust. "Ashly I can't be in here. I need to go; I don't want to take advantage of you at this point, but I promise I won't be far. I'm going to get you some water so you can hydrate, okay? Please try to understand as much as I want to mark you; I really don't want to get beat up by your dad and Allen, and more like, I don't want you to hate me." Alex Alpha's cock was as hard as a rock, and his knot was about to burst through his pants. With Ashly's scent in the room, Alex the wolf was clawing at him, wanting him to take his Omega and make sweet love to him. "No! You can't leave me like this. Please, Alpha, please! Just hold me for a few minutes; the cramps hurt so much. Hold me." Ashly's voice was so hoarse from the screaming and whimpering. She needed water, but Ashly wouldn't let Alex leave the room. She never imagined tha
In the next two weeks, Ashly and Alex will have gotten closer after spending Ashly's first heat together. They even spoke about her next heat cycle. Meaning Ashly wants to complete the bond with no questions asked. Adom was thrilled that his daughter was breaking out of her shell and letting people in. He knows it's a really big step for Ashly, and he also prays to God that nothing will go wrong after he leaves the world. It's not like he didn't trust Alex, but he knows misunderstandings happen, and he also knows how hot-headed his daughter is. He just wants them to be happy, even after he's gone. The siblings have bonded since then as well. When Ashly talks to Monika for the first time and calls her sister, Monika starts crying her eyes out, which makes Ashly scared at first, but then she understands that her twin sister is a drama queen like her. She hugged Monika for an hour and laid her down with Type. Well, first she rolled her eyes dramatically, then she hugged her. Both Type an
Ashly always believes there are two souls inside the human body, one negative and the other positive. It depends on what you choose. It totally depends on you if you want to become good or evil. Well, talking about her work, the side of the white half of the wolf is shaded in black with beautiful white calligraphy handwriting. The white wolf symbolizes joy, peace, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, honesty, compassion, faith, and gratitude. The other side of the wolf is shaded in white with black calligraphy handwriting. The black wolf symbolizes that it's full of envy, anger, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, flash pride, superiority, and ego. Ashly placed another mural in front of the old one. It was a painting of a black wolf with red eyes licking the white wolf's face, with love written about it. Alex gasped at the painting. They were on a run with the rest of the pack. Monika must have ta
"So let's start," Ashly asked while smiling. Everyone at Sophia Backery, including Monika, Type, Sam, Simon, and Alex Sebestian and Allen look at each other and smile. "Ok, so let's start it when I transfer here." Flashback:- The moment Allen walked into her new homeroom back in fifth grade, she knew he'd hold her heart forever. He was tall and handsome, with his Adam's apple sticking out of his glorious neck. His skin was a bit tan, a typical indication that he's from a tropical Asian country. I was only ten back then, but I knew my true nature as an Omega. Allen POV:- I transferred to another country when my parents got divorced. I chose to live with my mom because she left my father because of me. Well, he is not happy to have an Omega daughter like me; she flew back home to her parents house with me. I was an outcast, probably because I had a weird obsession back then with books and encyclopedias while teenagers my age were into texting, dating, and playing soccer around th
Flashback Continue:- Allen was suddenly back in fifth grade when my whole world stopped as he walked into her homeroom. The difference this time was that he wasn't wearing a uniform and he had a can of cold beer in his hand. He still has that cold, hard stare, and his hair is still undone and messy in a good way. But he is still unbelievably gorgeous. Like a Greek god that descended to Earth. He walked like he was a runway model in a fashion show, and goddamn, he looked like one too. Allen POV:- I guess I was just used to it, but I acknowledged him by giving him the same cold stare, just like before. I remember hearing Rich chuckle. Rich never chuckled. He used to growl at me or spit on the ground just to rile me up whenever I was around. Why is he chuckling now? "Why are you both staring at each other like you want to kill each other?" Tian asked, his voice as innocent as a child's. "They kind of have a history," Rich said. I initially thought he meant that we, Sebestian and I,
Flashback Continues:- Allen POV:- If I wasn't dreaming at that time, then Sebestian was probably playing some tricks on me. They were probably playing truth or dare when I went out, and Sebestian dared to say all this sh*t to me. Or maybe they were having a bet. Maybe he already knows how I feel, and they made a bet to see if I'd give in right away. I was told by Tian that people who would observe me carefully would see the way I look at Sebestian. I remembered myself cursing Tian and the rest of his friends. "I'm serious, Allen. Why would I kiss you that night if I don't like you?" I turned to look at him, stunned. My mouth felt dry. "You remembered?" "Of course." "I thought you were drunk," I continued, still not believing what I was hearing. "I only had two glasses of beer that night, Allen. Who gets drunk with two glasses of beer?" "I don't know. You, I guess." "I said I wasn't drunk. If I were, I wouldn't remember how you kissed me back." "What the—no, I didn't;" I tried
One look at you, and my whole life falls into line. "The moment I saw you, everything kind of fell into place. I knew there was something about you that made my heart stop a bit every time I was around you. And as you said, you feel like you can't breathe around them." I prayed for you before I called you mine. "Growing up with my dad, I always thought there was something wrong with me being an omega. I didn't understand what I was feeling. Then I met you, and everything finally made sense." I can't believe it's true sometimes. "After the moment I first kissed you, I knew that I didn't care what anyone thought about me. I went through so many years of hiding who I was, and with you, I was finally about to put the past behind me." I can't believe it's true. "I cannot believe I am marrying the man I love right here and right now. I just want you to know that I will always be there for you, no matter what comes our way." I get to love you; it's the best thing that I'll ever do. A
Sam cries with her, quieter, needing to spend comfort more than to receive it, his chest leaden with soreness, and he is constricted, but surprised, to find the beast slithered back to where it came from, letting him breathe a little easier. Monika has been quiet for a few minutes, but Sam just strokes her hair and back, giving her space. "Did you draw them because you couldn't talk to anyone?" Sam feels a surge of cold rippling down his spine, even though it's almost too warm inside, with the sun streaming in through the windows. "Yes. I'm bad at writing and talking about how I feel, so I draw." He inhales Monika again, taking comfort and strength, reminding himself that he has no reason to keep hurting in silence. "You're not bad at it. When you do, you're not. You just have to do it more." Monika moves back, forcing Sam to open his arms, his head moving up, following Monika standing. She offers a hand to Sam. "It's uncomfortable here; let's get into bed." Sam smiles softly,
When Sam moved in, he stored a few things in the barely furnished room next to their bedroom. Monika never figured out what to do with The black box caught her eye that day, but Sam pulled her into a hug and kissed every thought out of her. She was so happy to be living together that Monika forgot all about it. Sam is cooking, and Monika is bored—or, rather, avoiding reading another bland work report—so she showers, puts on some casual clothes, earrings, the new necklace she got from Sam, and a couple of her favorite rings, and wanders a bit back and forth. As she passes the room, she suddenly halts, looking at the door. She's clueless as to why the box resurfaces in her memory, and she could just ask Sam about it, but what kinds of secrets could he have in there he wouldn't want Monika to see? Monika scoffs at himself, opens the door, and finds the box gone from where it was on the shelf. Odd. She looks around the room, but she can't find it—the only thing that hasn't been there
"I do. I miss you, baby. So much. So fucking much. So damn much." Monika chuckled as she relaxed against the embrace. He knew it was too early, and he promised to take things slow, but he couldn't help himself when Monika was the one who initiated the move. He slowly snaked his arms around her waist and snuggled his head around Monika's neck. He felt her sobbing lightly, and he let her be. He himself wanted to cry over what's happening right now. He was waiting for months—years even—to touch Monika again, to see her, to hug her, and now that it's finally happening, it's too much for his vulnerable heart. "I love you, Monika." Silence. "And it's not the platonic kind of love. I love you more than that." "No shit, Sherlock," Monika muttered, and Sam laughed so loudly at the latter's reaction. "What? You really believe I'll pretend to be in a relationship to prevent my manager from interfering with my partner or my career? I did that because I wanted to be with you," Sam shoved playf
Flashback:- "Happy birthday, baby!" They were in the Monika room. The girl was celebrating her birthday, and her uncle arranged a special birthday party so she could spend the day with her friends. It might be Monika's big day, and she should be spending it with her family, but she doesn't mind having birthday friends too; she loves her family so much, and she knows that without them, she wouldn't be where she is right now. Sam was also there to celebrate with her. He was supposed to be a special surprise for her, yet Sam, thanks to his loud, unstoppable mouth, accidentally slipped this information when he was talking to Monika, so instead, he'll be a surprise guest to her uncle, who is already waiting outside. "You can't see the bride before the wedding, Sam!" The birthday girl gasped playfully. Sam was wearing a black and white button-down shirt and some fitted jeans, while Monika was wearing an all-white dress—the perfect outfit for a wedding ceremony. "If you and I are married,
The junior staff's little stunt caught Monika's attention the most, and she tilted her head to see Sam just sitting there, his face contorted and, most of all, confused. She stared at him too, and just like everyone else, she was waiting for his next move. Sam knew he couldn't escape this situation, so he took a deep breath before putting down his cup of cold soda. He stood up and nervously pulled on his clothes before walking towards the crowd where his friends were. His friends parted and cleared the path for him, and without them on the way, he could now perfectly see the face of the woman who had been taunting his daydreams and was visiting his mind once in a while. Once he was a few feet away from the woman, he shifted his eyes to his friends. He was afraid to meet the pair of black eyes that were already looking at him, but he needed to. "Hi," Sam croaked, his voice a little bit pitchy and high. He cleared his throat before trying again. "Hi," he said once more. "Hello, Sam," M
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to you!" Ashly was holding a large cake in her hands and walked through the door as Adom's friends sang him his birthday song with Alex and their friends, including Allen and Sebestian. They were going to surprise Ashly and Alex. Today Ashly and Alex are waiting for many things, and they just pray to God that everything will be fine after today. Everyone will be happy and move on from pain. It was Adom's official seventh birthday, and Alex and Ashly held an exclusive house party for their adorable son. "Happy birthday, my adorable panda!" Ashly grinned widely at the celebrant. "Make a wish already and blow out your candle. This cake is really so heavy for me to carry." Adom laughed adoringly at his mom, nodded, and closed his eyes. Everybody was silent as Adom made his wish, and everybody cheered when he blew out the candle. Both Alex and Ashly pressed a soft kiss on their son's cheeks
She always feels it in her stomach. hollowing anguish, coiling around her guts, taking up every space, rough and sore. It’s shock at first, smothering all other emotions. Shock is followed by betrayal, anger, and cold-hearted resolve. Tears keep falling and falling, wetting her hands, clothes, her phone, and their smiling faces. Then she thinks it’s clear enough. He has a new love and a new life, and isn’t it better and easier if he doesn’t have to explain anything to her? The photos disappear in the bin, and she’ll pretend it was never hers to wear. He doesn’t want to hear it anyway. Not a word, not a single one, not from her mouth, not in her voice, not while seeing her face. Never again. Monika understands everything now. It all makes sense. She can get over it; she will; she’s done it before. She can’t get over it. She takes out the pictures from the bin before anyone can get rid of them, and she keeps them in a box even when she moves. She drinks too much to drown out the
Everything is going well in Ashly and Alex's lives. They fell into something of a rhythm, going to work together during the week, coming home and having dinner with Adom, and putting him to bed. On the weekends, they had family time and took Adom to the park, the aquarium, or just to the grocery store with them. It had been so easy to insert himself into their lives. Alex was almost afraid that he was dreaming, and when he woke up, he’d be on the other side of the world again. But every time he woke up now, Ashly was beside him in bed, usually curled up in Alex's arms and drooling against his chest. It's really felt so good. It was a fantastic way to wake up. The company merger was nearly finished, as Alex and Ashly planned. Alex had tentative plans to step down as CEO if he could convince Ashly to take him on as a personal assistant. So far, Ashly thought the idea was ridiculous, but Alex was fairly confident he could talk her around. And he really wants to be around his mate all
