Hello lovelies. In order to prepare for my exams which will run from the 28th of November to 8th, I won't be able to update regularly. Please bear with me. Thanks
*You hurt us, you hurt him.* I try to block the voices out, wanting to cast them off as a nightmare but the voices came back, their loud whispers echoing in the foremost part of my mind. I slap my hands over my ears, willing for them to stop with their mockery, but they don't. *You made him cry. You made us cry.* I groggily awaken, my clothes drenched in my own sweat. Sia is fast asleep beside me, laying on his stomach. I sit up straight, kicking the covers off me. *You hurt us. You hurt him. You hurt me.* It was not a nightmare. The voices are actually real. I went to the bathroom, and splashed cold water on my face. I checked the time. Two a.m. I decided against going back to bed, and went to the balcony, taking in the moon that stood high in the sky. It didn't remain quiet for a long time. The voices returned, louder than before, slamming into my head with force. *You hurt us. You made us cry. You hurt us. You made us cry,* Lightening strikes and then I felt it. The raw power
"I want to see Ruarc". Brazen eyes lifted and meet mine. I had run all the way here, and my torn shirt hung off my shoulders, showing enough amount of skin. He had the decency to look away. "He doesn't want to see you". "Oh cut me the crap Cocci. Take me to him now". He refused of course and I stormed out. If he wouldn't let me near him, I would bring him to me. I'm exhausted when I reached a small house not too far from Cocci's home. It was not there before, or maybe I just missed it. I sniff the air. Human, and he's male. Perfect. I kick the door open, and I dodge the bat which was aimed at me. Slipping into the house with ease, I disarm the man, shutting the door close. He picks up the baseball bat again, and I move away, to the farther end of the room. "Look, I don't want to hurt you". He stares at me baffled. "You expect me to believe that? You broke into my house!". "And I have a perfectly good reason for doing so. Look, I just need you to kiss me". He blinks. "Are you
"How long until you're tried?". "Two days", he said bitterly, throwing the cigar away. "And I'm guessing you have only two days to come up with evidence?", Sia asks and Massa slowly nodded. "It would also take us two days to reach the palace", Ruarc stated, pinching the bridge of his nose as he exhaled sharply. "This is seriously fucked up", Sia exclaims. "That's why I need your help", he said. "With your help, I can come up with evidence". "Hate to tell you this Mass, but I haven't got anything for you", Sia said. Massa's shoulders slumped as he faced Ruarc. He only shook his head. It wasn't fair. I racked my brain for any sort of information that could help him but there was none. It made me sad. "Well, this is it". Massa said. "I will go the palace now and die, all thanks to a stupid promise I made to Heshina". Heshina. That has to be Cecilia's mother. "You could use the promise as your evidence", Sia suggested. "It's not enough", Massa snapped. "They are the council Nas.
"Nasia can't shift so he will journey with Ruarc. You sweetie, I guess you would have to do the same", Massa says. After much persuasion, Ruarc finally let me come with them. I'm so excited, Sia thinks it's stupid. I changed into better clothes, a cashmere sweater, and woolly pants. I even put on some gloves. "No, thank you. I'm a wolf and I'm going to run as one" Massa shook his head. "I once told you that wolves aren't tolerated in the palace. If you go there running as one, I won't be able to save you from death". I shudder. "Fine". I walk over to Ruarc and Sia, and Ruarc immediately shifts. I gasp in awe as I stare at his wolf. It is ten times bigger than an average wolf, and I guess that's a perk for Icelanders. His eyes are icy blue. There's a white mark on his nose and I wonder why it's there. His fur is pure black, but his paws are an icy blue. "Stop staring and come on". Sia is already seated on his brother, holding a hand out for me. I take it and he pulls me up. I s
"Thanks to you guys, I'm late", Massa grumbled as he plopped down beside me. I don't know what he did, but Sia and I are way much better. Sia is sitting against a tree, staring intently at the fire he had made to keep me warm. I'm hungry but Ruarc says we'll hunt in the morning. I know he is still pissed off so I don't argue with him. He hasn't let go of me since I recovered, his arm wrapped securely around my waist. He also made sure Sia didn't hear me. I want to apologize, but the word 'sorry' doesn't seem to leave my lips. I snuggle closer to him, letting out a content sigh. This is where I belong, right here in his arms but my eyes couldn't help but find Sia. He doesn't look at me, but I won't stop looking at him. Here I am in the arms of my mate, ogling another man. "You can always disappear", I tell Massa. He rolls his eyes. "Thank you", I say out of nowhere. "For healing me". "It's not like I had a chance", he says and I frown. Ruarc's fingers rub Sia's mark on my shoulde
Every instinct to run away is replaced with need. Burning need for a male's touch. I don't try to fight it, welcoming the feeling. My body is hot and I want to jump in the river to cool the heat. I don't, rather I take a step forward, toward the armed men. "Crinka!". I whip my head to the side and find my three favorite brothers. Ruarc and Sia's look is that of worry but that quickly changes when they breathe in my scent. Massa held his breath, so he won't be tempted to touch me. "Leave here at once Crinka, before something drastic happens. Go!". I did run, but I don't get too far. They didn't let me. I'm softly pushed down to the ground and I look up to see two masked males gazing down at me. I should be screaming for help, but I don't, purring at their touch. Oh, what I would do to have a male inside me now? They must have heard my thoughts, for one nudged my legs apart, and that's when I see Ruarc. He lets out a growl and charges toward the men. If he gets here, he'll take me
"Ahh!""Will you stop screaming?"."Well what do you want me to do? I wake up in an unknown place in nothing but lace underwear, my hands and legs cuffed to the bed. What do you expect me to do huh?".She rolled her eyes. "Well not scream obviously".Now I roll my eyes. "Yeah right. Like you won't do the same if you were in my shoes"."Probably not"."I can tell you're lying".I look at the girl again. She's not the little girl I met in the forest but she must be a relative. The girl has dark kohl lined around her eyes. Her lips are a dark red and if my guess is right, she should be around Eloive's age."Why am I cuffed to the bed?"."I wish I knew", she says grumbling. The little girl from earlier pos her head in the doorway. "Oh, I know"."Tell us Toreh, why is she cuffed to my bed?".Toreh steps into the room looking between us. "Well, after you slept in the tub, mother brought you here. You kept touching yourself in your sleep, so mother cuffed her hands to the bed. Oh, and she ke
The trees blurred past us as we ran, well he because I'm just on his back. I try to picture what the palace looked like, but since it is almost impossible, I stop trying, but I don't understand why Cocci has stopped running. He did say he was not going to stop. I pat his fur. "Hey, why did you stop?". He lets out a growl, taking a step back and that's when I see them. The masked men from before. But this time, they are not wearing masks. Remembering that these ugly men want me, I let out a shudder. "Oh if it isn't the she-wolf from the night before" I can hear Cocci's voice in my head. How he did that, I would never know. "Don't answer him, just go and hide behind that tree over there. I would try and fight them off". I should close my mouth and just hide as he told me to, but where's the fun in doing that? "Is your brain so small that you can't remember basic things like date and time? If I remember correctly, it has been exactly eight days since we last met". "Damn it Crinka
