HAZEL'S POV;

After what I had said to Lawrence, his countenance changed from receptive to repulsive.

I was sure that everyone could see that expression on his face. I focused on eating my food and ignoring everyone.

I could see the looks. I could see how they tried not to make it look like I was the object of attention but I could feel their gaze on me even without having to look up at them.

I felt really uncomfortable here right now and I wished I had gone against his order. The worst thing that was going to happen was him getting angry and it wasn't something that I was going to allow to get to me.
