Xavier’s POV

Gramps had my full interview about Zoe and I told her everything she already knew.

The fact that she was my mate was only known to me and I was going to keep it that way.

For Gramps it was enough that she had a bastard for an ex who was now trapping Alyssa. And that her father was about to be put into a dungeon for a fraud he didn’t commit, which is why I was helping her.

I had been honest about sleeping with her. Even if I hadn’t, Gramps would’ve found out anyway, if she didn’t already.

After confirming that she would take care of Zoe, she had sent me to Claire ‘to sort things out.’
