86: Not Every Battle Is To Be Fought

André's POV

I watched as Olivia slept peacefully. The day had been far spent. I was hoping we would get to the pack, but a lot of things had happened, and we were still in bed.

I watched her sleep, eager to stroke her face and push away the stray lock of hair that fell over her left eye.

Soon, I heard her groan, and she stirred gently. I watched as she opened her eyes and looked around.

"Hello, beautiful."

Her face beamed with a smile, and her cheeks gently filled with colour.

"How long was I asleep?"

I walked up to her and sat beside her, finally getting the opportunity to play with her hair.

"Not too long. I didn't want to wake you up. You looked so tranquil."

Her eyes were washed all over my face, and each glance was filled with love.

"Aren't we going back home? I know you wanted to leave early. I'm sorry that I delayed and..."

"Shhhhh. It's fine–"

I hushed her silently and sealed her lips with a soft kiss.

"–I asked the men to grab your bags and take them to the car. I would like
