176: The Show Has Begun. 

Jonas POV

I slipped back into my office and closed the door behind me.

Finally, that bastard had left. I couldn’t let him compromise my plans.

I waited for his footsteps to fade before I grabbed my phone at my desk and began to dial some numbers.

Those fools had better not have messed this up.

In a few minutes, my phone screen had four faces looking at me. Three of which were my men.

“Good afternoon, Boss…”

“Screw your greetings!” I snapped angrily. “What’s the situation there? Is she still captive?”

“Yes, Sir. She is still tightly tied, and we have one of our men watching her.”

My face contorted in anger.

“Excuse me? You said how many?”

My eyes struck fear into the heart of the man I was talking to but radiated through the call. I could see the unease on everyone’s faces as they looked away from the screen and left the man to his fate.

“J…just one, Sir. She is just a little girl. She can’t possibly do…”

“You fool!”

I slammed my fist on the table, and though it was a virtual meet
