Elena - POV

Silas and I stood next to the cribs, gazing at our little boys, who were sound asleep after a lot of fuss. Carefully, we tiptoed out of the room, ensuring we did not wake them. Silas held my hand and led me to the kitchen, leaving me puzzled.

"Why are we going to the kitchen?" I asked, my tired gaze betraying my confusion.

"Because you need to eat, El. You barely had anything for dinner," Silas replied.

"But the chefs are off duty, so who will cook? I'm too lazy to make something," I muttered. Silas smirked at me.

"What?" I asked, staring at his smirk.

"I'll cook for you, El." Silas guided me to a small chair and went to the kitchen counter, donning an apron over his shirtless frame. His muscular shoulders made me drool as Silas rummaged through the fridge. I couldn't help but feel a stir of desire in the pit of my stomach, hoping he hadn't picked up on it.

"Do you want scrambled eggs or a chicken sandwich?" he asked. Inwardly relieved, I sighed.

"A chicken sandwich," I ans

PrologueYuri's POVI blinked in disbelief at Alpha Silas' words, and Mac looked at me with his usual poker face."Elena told you?" I asked, trying to wrap my head around the news."Elena can see through the threads, and even Emily is working with her. I'm not sure what they both have figured out," Alpha Silas explained gently, looking at me with concern. I lowered my gaze, feeling overwhelmed.Suddenly, Elena's voice interrupted our conversation. "What's going on?" she asked, looking at me with concern. Her droopy gaze turned into alarm as she realized what we were discussing. "You told her, Silas," she scolded him."I did a favor. It scared you to bring this up to Yuri," Alpha Silas defended himself."I was going to tell her myself. We were supposed to say it together and have a good time. And did you also inform me that Mac's wolf is attracted to Yuri's?" Elena's tone was accusatory, and I could feel my face turning red with embarrassment."What? Mac, is this true?" I turned to him

Yuri - POVDrake's violet irises stared at me as I surveyed the dining table. I approached him and sat down next to him. "You're alive; Elena was worried about you," I said. Drake snorted. "What?" I asked."You just want to keep mocking me with Elena's name," he said, his gaze locked onto mine. I felt hot under his stare."I'm not mocking you, just stating facts," I replied, breaking eye contact And serving myself some food. Mac sat beside me, and we chatted like old friends, despite the weird sensation I felt in the pit of my stomach while sitting between him and Drake.Elena held a smug smile as if she knew my state. "Elena, wipe that smile off your face," I mind-linked."Not when I see the tension between you three. I'm enjoying it," Elena replied. I tried to keep a straight face as Alpha Silas, Elena, and Emily looked on with interest."God! Elena, why don't you read Drake's mind?" I growled."I did. Drake - POVMac drove the car as we couldn't stay in one place and risked blowing our cover after the scuffle broke out at the restaurant. We were no longer part of the Silver Canines Pack. The place we were headed to was a neighbor of the Night Pack. I remember Silas mentioning in the meeting that the Night Pack's neighbor was good friends with the Night Pack Alpha.Yuri was sleeping in the back seat, exhausted from overwork. I tried not to stare at her too much, as I sensed Mac's gaze on me when I looked at Yuri. His gaze held a coldness as if she belonged to him, and I hated it. I pushed it away. The awkward silence lingered as we stopped just before entering Night Pack territory. "Yuri, wake up," Mac said, moving the car slowly. The guard gestured to stop, and Mac rolled down the window. Yuri blinked her drowsy gaze at the guard."Who are you, and what is the purpose of coming to our pack?" The guard asked sternly, his gaze closely studying us. His eyes settled on me for a couple

Yuri - POVWhen I reached the site where the building was left with debris, I saw the guards of the Night Pack come to the site and ask us to step away, not allowing us to go further. I hated stepping away, but my eyes snapped at the guy who walked in with authority. He wasn't the Alpha but gave off the air of a Beta or Gamma."Beta Ted," the guard informed him, adding that there were no casualties or injuries. He nodded, looking at us with curiosity and a slight suspicion as we stood on the other side, watching the guards in action, helping their civilians evacuate the place."You three, get out of here; there's nothing for you to see," Ted said sternly. I walked up to him. Mac held my hand and shook his head, discouraging me from speaking about the meeting.I turned over my shoulder to see Ted staring at me as I walked away from the site. "I wish to finish this mission and return home soon," I said impatiently. I needed to go home to the Silver Canines pack and find out the mystery

  • Alpha Silas Human Luna   Mission

Drake - POVYuri was giving me a headache. It had been three days since we arrived in Orhill town, searching for the human with a dragon bloodline rumored to live here. After three days of fruitless searching, we still hadn't found any trace of dragon blood in the local populace, a sign I could usually pick up on. Our mission felt like searching for a needle in a haystack."Have you found anyone with dragon blood yet?" Yuri asked me again as we walked the streets, hoping to find clues."Yuri, for the last time, stop asking the same question. I'm warning you," I hissed at her, stopping in my tracks. Her nerves were frayed from our time in the town. I knew she was desperately seeking her biological father, but impatience did not make the task any easier."Are you threatening me? What will you do, huh?" Yuri snapped back, jolting me back to reality. I had unconsciously grabbed her hand during our exchange."You don't want to know, love," I responded. The words slipped out before I could

Yuri - POVA door creaked open, and the device strapped to the back of my hand began to warm. It signaled that we had found our Mixed Blood, and the man who stood in front of us was one of them. Strikingly, this man bore a resemblance to me, something that didn't go unnoticed by Drake, whose eyes darted between my face and the elderly man’s. Equally surprised, the old man stared back at me.“Who are you?” His voice was gruff and full of suspicion.“I…I…” I stammered, unable to find my words.“This young lady is searching for her biological father. Her mother gave her this address,” Drake interjected, explaining my situation to the stranger, who looked eerily like me. I was still uncertain whether this man could indeed be my father.“What?” The old man gasped, his shock evident. “What is the name of the woman spreading such falsehoods?”“Who are you calling a liar?” I shot back, my indignation clear. The old man visibly flinched as two figures emerged from the shadowed interior of the

  • Alpha Silas Human Luna   Unknow Dragon Aura

Mac–POVMy wolf bristled with irritation all week, grumbling that Yuri had to be with the dragon guy instead of us. Our mission was to locate a rare onyx stone situated in the Norman city of Fae. To be honest, it was an absolute pain in the ass; the Fae were less than helpful when it came to finding a shop that supposedly sold this rare stone. After wrangling with Fae bandits, a detour that squandered four precious days, and meandering through various cities, I finally found myself standing outside the shop. I had anticipated a small, decrepit wooden building like most Fae establishments, but I found a boutique teeming with jewelry on display and eerily devoid of customers – a sight uncommon in a city where Fae often frequented local shops.Upon entering, a sharply dressed young woman with golden Fae eyes met my gaze with undisguised distaste. “Wolf, what brings you to my shop?” she asked with palpable disgust.“I need a rare onyx stone,” I replied, cutting to the chase. The Fae woman

Drake's POVReaching the location that resonated with my power, I spotted a man in a dark cape walking alongside Alpha Kevin. I couldn't discern his face, and I couldn't get too close without alerting Alpha Kevin and Beta Ted, making me appear as if I were spying on them.Keeping my distance, I continued to follow. My pursuit led me to a secluded shelter where Alpha Kevin, Ted, and the caped man gathered. Their voices were muffled as if a magical spell had been cast over the location to prevent eavesdropping. Frustration set in as I struggled to gather useful information."Close your eyes, Drake. I will cast an invisibility spell on you," my dragon Fin instructed. Complying, I felt a comforting warmth envelop my body as the spell took effect. Under the invisibility cloak, I approached the shelter, positioning myself near a window."Alpha Kevin, we've brought more mixed-bloods," Ted reported."Hmm… I'm pleased with your work, Ted. Did you hear, Zane? Our mission seems to be progressing

Yuri was resting in the tent, and Mac had just joined me, taking a slow sip from his flask."Your wolf is back, huh?" he mused, offering me the drink.I took it, nodding. "Yeah. Feels like I’m myself again, thanks to that fight with that asshole Eric."Mac smirked, taking another swig. "So… you’re not gonna ask?"I arched a brow. "Ask what?""Yuri’s not my mate. Emery is," he clarified, his voice steady. "The moment my wolf surfaced during your fight with Zane, I knew."I shrugged. "Figured."Mac scoffed. "No wonder you look so damn smug."I rolled my eyes. "How’s Emery?"His smirk faded, replaced by a shadow of concern. "Not great. The toll of fighting, being under that bitch’s spell… it’s wearing onher." My blood boiled.Lucian chuckled darkly, savoring my reaction. “Do you know what I did first? I killed your sister while your father watched. He screamed until his voice was raw.” His grin widened. “Then I took your brother. He was helpless, weak—just a half-blood dragon with no powers. He couldn’t save her. What a waste.”I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms.“And your father?” He tilted his head mockingly. “He called your name, praying for your safety before I—”“Ahh!”My

His deep voice cut through the tension.“Guys, stay back. This is personal.” His sharp side-glance told me to stay put. I hated being ordered around, but I knew better than to step between him and his revenge. Any second now, the enemy might strike.“If the Hybrids' higher-ups know we’re here…” Mac finally broke the silence, his voice edged with unease. “It means they’ll attack soon.”“No shit, Sherlock,” Drake muttered, arms crossed, frustration radiating off him.I exhaled sharply. “No clue what to do next,” I admitted in a whisper. Both Drake and Mac turned to me at the same time, their gazes sharp.“Your power… it feels different,” they said in unison.I nodded. “I got my wolf power back,” I murmured.A soldier stepped forward, nodding in admiration. “With Yuri’s power, we managed to get inside without being traced.” He said.“I see.” Drake’s voice darkened. “You dare to call my mate by her name?”I clenched my jaw. “I told them to c
