It had been almost a week since Lara had died. We were conducting her service today. Kate and Colby had graciously transported her body to us and had now joined us for the modest service we would have for Lara. There were flowers, and would be a small gathering of people. Some in particular, wanting to be sure she is really gone such as Samuel and Jasmine. I could not blame anyone for how they felt. Lara had been an evil person and had damaged a lot of lives. Kate POV We got the call two days later that Lily was in labour. Colby had been trying to convince me not to go. Lily would understand that he wanted me close to the Pack house and doctor. We both were anxious after our last loss, but we had to recognize that was a situation that happened to us. Not something that meant there was something wrong with the pup or me in terms of carrying our pups. Amelie was over the moon when she found out we were expecting. To find out we were having two pups was a surprise but a great one at that. Amelie asked repeatedly if she could name them.
