Suffocating

My body tensed, my spine straightened, and my eyes widened. Every hair on the back of my neck and arms stood up. My lips parted as electricity zapped through the air. I could feel his eyes burning holes into the top of my head. I was naked, exposed, and still sore from Chance. I was mad at him, disgusted with what I’d seen earlier, and I’d sworn I wouldn’t waste anymore time on him.

Yet my nipples hardened, my thighs squeezed together, and I wanted him to pull on my hair like he’d done the first time. Korra was oddly quiet. Or maybe his presence had the same reaction on her as it did on me. It wasn’t even a maybe at this point. I knew she was as stunned as I was. I wasn’t scared, and I wasn’t ashamed. I felt confident in my actions after what I’d caught him doing. No, it was fear, or shame I felt; it was excitement.
