Chapter seventy

RAIDEN’s POV

I couldn't believe how much I was willing to do just to get Davina back. But I knew I had to do whatever it takes to make things right. So, I flew to Dubai with Karla, my fake girlfriend. We had to make it seem like we were just there for a vacation, but deep down, we both knew what we were really there for.

As soon as we arrived, I sat down with Karla and had a serious conversation with her.

"Karla, I need your help. I know this might sound crazy, but I need to follow Davina here to Dubai. I need to win her back," I said.

Karla was surprised, "Wait, are you serious? You're really going to do this?"

I nodded, "Yes, I am. I know it's a long shot, but I have to try. I can't let her slip away without a fight."

Karla sighed, "Okay, I'll help you. But you have to promise me that you won't get your hopes up too high. Davina might not feel the same way anymore."
