Kenji’s POV“Has anyone seen where these attacks are com-” Blinding lights suddenly flashes before my eyes as intense pain crashes through my body like a freight train. Remiel’s POV I was just minding my own business, wandering the halls in search of the unknown assasin that has been moving through the castle, when an excruciating pain took over my body, dropping me to my knees in an instant. With Jamari still having my powers inside of her body from months ago, the pain was more intense than anything that I have ever felt before. Without my powers I am slightly above a human when it comes to my tolerance and strength. Within seconds the pain caused me to black out as the darkness swalled me whole. I am not sure how much time passed between me passing out in the hallway and me waking up here in a room I have never seen before. Voices begin to penetrate my muddled brain as my senses slowly start to come back to me. Remnants of the pain I felt before blacking out rushes through my system everytime I try to move a muscle, causing me to give up and just lay my body still against the cool wooden floor. Lucern’s POV Pain still courses through my body even after my healing properties have had a chance to ease the pain a bit. Being raised as a Vampire, I have experienced my fair share of pain, but nothing has ever compared to the all consuming pain that attacked my body the moment I laid my hand on Jamari. If Levi and I prevented pieces of the spell from absorbing into Clotho, then I can not even imagine the amount of pain that she must have been in before we touched Jamari’s body. I will be starting Book 3, the final book in the series, soon and will have it up by next month. I am currently dealing with a family emergency that might make my planned timeline a little longer than I would like so please bear with me as I plan out how to end Jamari's journey.
