The mention of Juniper’s surname makes it worse, and I know Hollis is just trying to be transparent, but I do not see how he is helping.
“A Moonmiles! Those traitors!” Mother grits her teeth, and Juniper’s tiny hands tighten around mine.
“Not like our pack is any better than them. Maybe we should ask the Lycans what real traitors are about.” The words leave my mouth before I can control them.
