Raul and Hayley have not been in good talking terms for days now because Raul could not bear the thought of his mate becoming pregnant. He was jealous and had refused to accept the news.
Hayley laid in bed looking away from him that night. Raul lay in bed looking away from her too. She could not phantom why Raul would be mad at the news of becoming a father. She was silent for a few seconds after realizing that he was almost asleep as usual and then she started.
“I don’t get it, Raul. You’re serious about me taking out this pregnancy?”
Raul was silent for a while. Then after a few minutes, he turned to face her but she was still backing him and said, “I can’t have a baby now. It’s too risky at this point considering the war and us… we just started out together and now a baby? I can’t handle losing our time together as a couple because you have to perform some mummy duties.”
