Chapter 5

 “What are you doing here?” he asked in a very soft voice laying in his bed; chests, bare.

“I came as requested,” Hayley responded in a seductive voice. “I changed my mind.” She stood at the door, hands on her lips.

Raul gazed at her with small smiles around his lips, checking her out. He licked his lips and sighed.

“Ok.”

Hayley headed towards him undressing herself. “I couldn’t get you off my mind. The way you looked at me earlier; sent chills down my spine.”

Raul grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to himself. “Hmm… really?”

Hayley smiled and nodded like a baby. She threw her arms around his neck. “I want you just as much too.”

“You want that?”

“Yes, I do.

Raul kissed her lips softly and Hayley moaned with pleasure. He paused to look into her eyes and her beautiful lips form a small smile which drove Raul crazy. He turned to put her in bed and laid on top of her.

Hayley took off her pants and pulled him towards her. Raul bent low till his tummy was touching hers and kisses her slowly. Hayley moaned softly, caressing his hairy chest and running her hands through his long brown hair. Raul ran his lips leaving kisses from her neck down to her tummy area. Hayley moaned loudly, biting her lower lip and whispering something that sounded like “Don’t stop!”      

Raul took a brief look at her to see how she was feeling. He smiled with satisfaction as Hayley’s green eyes gazed back at him. Then he bent his head low to her thighs and kissing her thighs run inside and Hayley almost screamed…

Hayley opened her eyes immediately with a scream to find that she was dreaming.

“What the hell…!?” she murmured.

Immediately, Kal approached her with a plate of food and this time, he was all smiling.

“You are becoming a regular here.” Hayley teased.

“I know right; it’s coz I want to make sure you’re well-fed. Is that a problem?”

“Oh no! I like being cared for.” She lied and grabbed her plate of food from him. Kal stood at the door, watching her eat. She suddenly realized that he was still standing there and raised her head slowly to look at him. He was smiling and winking at her.

“What?”

“We almost had a thing yesterday. I was hoping for a continuation.”

Hayley gazed at him smiling. “Really?”

“Yeah.”

“But Raul will see us.” She was being sarcastic.

“I don’t care about that. Besides, he’s got all the other females. I only want you.”

“Hmm…” Hayley bit her lips and got on her feet to meet him at the door. She placed her hands on his chest and caresses him tenderly.

“Open the door then.”

Kal paused and gazed into her eyes but she was looking down at his chest as she caressed him.  

“Do we have to?”

“Yes; or how else do you want us to have this?”

“I-I.. can’t.”

Hayley’s eyed form a little irritation as she looked up at him.

“Collen’s going to be mad.” Kal continued.

Hayley grabbed him by the neck and in between transformations she warned in a loud roar. “Then don’t you ever come here asking to mate with me ever again.”

“Got it,” Kal replied between gasps for breath.

Hayley released him and took a deep breath to cool her temper while Kal walked away in disappointment. She gazed to find some males watching her and laughing at Kal.

“Hey!” she called out from her cell.

Both males turned to look at her in silence.

“Go tell your boss that I am ready for him.” She ordered and returned to eating her food.

“I’m ready now.” Hayley stood in front of him in his lair, her hands on her waist as she stood at an akimbo.    

“Ok then.”

Raul responded and ordered other females out.

“So?” he spoke out to break the silence after everyone left his room.

Hayley walked towards him and took his hands.

“Wait!” Raul cut in. “Why the change of mind?”

“It’s like you said, I need to find answers to questions in my head too.”

“I don’t trust you,” Raul confessed with suspicion in his voice.

“That makes two of us.” Hayley was getting irritated. “So are we doing this or not?”

Raul shrugged his shoulders. “Uh well… what have we got to lose? Get on with it!”

Hayley took his hands and returned to his past.

Raul’s father laughed out loud at his son’s innocence and ignorance.  

“Haha… You don’t know?”

“Know what?” Young Raul asked with tears in his eyes.

“Your mother planned the attack with the outlanders. She has taken a mate with one of them and betrayed us.” The alpha narrated. “She cheated on us.”

“That’s a lie. You’re lying. My mother would never betray me.” Young Raul yelled in disbelief.

“Haha…” The Alpha burst into laughter again.

“I’m sure you didn’t also know that she planned to leave you and me after this attack on our clan?”

“What?” Raul was shocked.

“Yeah; you heard me. She was going to dump you with me to run away with her lover.”

“I was only trying to protect you by doing away with her betraying ass.” The Alpha snorted.

Raul is silent now and confused.

“Don’t feel so bad, Junior. You have me to care for you.” He teased as he approached Raul slowly in an attempt to grab him.

“This wouldn’t be so weird if we didn’t have to leave our home and wander the world for a place to settle.”

“What are you saying, pap?” Raul made to dodge his father’s grasp.

“I’m saying that in this part of our world, you won’t last out there as a young werewolf. Because no two alphas can rule a territory. It’s a world for the fittest and the strongest.” The alpha made to grab him but Raul unconsciously stepped away and the Alpha missed a step and fell deep into the deep valley full of rocks.

“Papa…” Raul screamed and made to save him but it was too late. The Alpha was… dead.  

“Papa.” He whispered in tears but could not mourn him as he heard noises approaching him from a distance and takes to his heels.

Raul woke up to discover he is in the outlands where there were no rules. Every werewolf is an alpha of his own and only a few females. Indeed, he was going to need to survive out here. So he found himself in a lonely corner by the rocks where no one harbored to make his own.

Raul survived by stealing from some of the outlanders and luckily, he grew into a young male living that way. Now, he had friends who were also like him but he led the team, and soon, they became his most trusted friends. Together, they would fight to ward off intruders from their territory, and in time, they become feared. Raul gathered more followers in the outlands as he was feared for his super strength and speed.

One day, Raul and his teammates decided to move into the mainlands in search of a place to settle as it was becoming difficult to find food in the outlands. While they scouted, they approached a territory well secured with young werewolves running around. Raul gives a sign to his teammates to scatter and scout the area while he hid in the bushes in his werewolf form watching in silence and scheming until he sites her.

Raul had never really seen a full-grown female werewolf up close. He slowly returned to his human form as he gazed at her in awe. She was so beautiful and very, different. He stood and watched her silently as she sat with the young werewolves, telling them stories of her past. He was soon cut short by a teammate who makes a sound like a sigh that they had to leave.

At this Hayley released his hands gazing at him with pity.

“How do you feel?” she asked.

“I’m good.” He replied rather carefree. “Are we done here?”

“Yes, we are… for now.” She paused. “I can only see what your mind wants me to see.”

“What does that mean?”

“Whatever you’re thinking of at the moment is what I get to see.”

“Oh really?” Raul laughed softly. “That’s refreshing.”

Hayley is silent.

“So when do you suppose we have another session?” 

“Whenever you remember anything else.” She responded on her feet. “I’m just a call away.”

Raul gazed at her in silence watching her leave his room.

“Sure.” He whispered after she was gone wondering why she suddenly changed her mind. He thought she was planning something and was bent on getting ahead of her. He smiled to himself laying back in his bed and murmured.

“Hayley, Hayley, Hayley… I’m going to find out what you’re up to. They don’t call me the Dark Prince for nothing.”
