Sophie was wide awake. She lied down on the bed waiting until Alpha Jones would come in. She wanted an explanation of what happened in the throne room. She was bewildered by how he was almost licking Scott's feet.She made a grimace instead of welcoming him with the usual affectionate smile but Alpha Jones didn't even notice her countenance.He moved onto the bed beside her.
