Maxon’s POV

Where could he be? Where could my son be? Who took him from this place? Where could he have gone? All these questions raced through my mind with my pounding heart.

I couldn’t find answer to any of them, I could remember leaving Asher out there and telling him not to go anywhere, where could he have gone?

I looked around, to see if he was anywhere close, but he was nowhere to be found, there was no trace of him, my heart raced.

Where could my son be? I was sure he would still be there if he wasn’t taken away or if something hadn’t happened, I was sure there was something wrong.

“Asher!” I called out, but no answer came, “Asher!” I called again, but it was still the same, Asher was nowhere to be found.
