Chapter 20

Olivia’s POV

The next morning, I woke up before dawn, but it was almost noon now, and I still didn't want to get out of bed.

Because I knew that as soon as I left the room, my mother would immediately come up and ask me if I wanted to eat. It's such a bad excuse to control me.

Sigh, parents always pretend to be confused about important things, but they have to control trivial matters.

I covered my face with the quilt, closed my eyes, and just wanted to be an ostrich.

Not long after, the hunger in my stomach made me really unable to continue to escape. I gently opened the door and looked around. No one was there.

I tiptoed down the stairs, walked through the living room, and entered the kitchen, only to find milk in the refrigerator.

"Don't worry, your parents are taking a nap, and Alpha Alex has left to work." Maid Lilith said.
