"You are hurt" Lance's voice breaks my state of shock as he crouches beside me inspecting my whole body before his eyes land on the scrunched paper on the floor.

I watch him quietly as he unfolds the paper and his face immediately turns sour at the content.

Lance growls loudly before aggressively punching the tree next to him breaking it in the process.

Impressive.

"You're mine" his glowing eyes snap to mine like he just realised I was here. His body is shaking and fur starts replacing his skin as his breaths come out heavily.

"No one is taking you from me," he snarls punching the next tree and it suffers the same effect.

Lance's knuckles are bleeding but he ignores them going for the next tree, and I stop him before he breaks all the trees in the forest.

Sometimes he makes me wonder if it's his wolf doing or if he's actually the biggest pretender.
