"Where is she!" One of the guards voice thundered.

Panting she forced herself to her feet some of the glass had torn into her skin, she had no time to get rid of them.

She limped through the pain biting her bottom lip as she hurried away from the pack, she brought out the map and tried to navigate her way to the woods.

She stumbled through the dense forest, her breaths coming out in labored gasps. Her body ached with bruises and cuts, and every step felt like torture. She glanced behind her, catching a glimpse of the guards in the distance, their armor glinting in the dark light. They were getting closer, and she knew she couldn't outrun them for much longer.
