The Trial

The guard stepped into the dungeon where Eden was being held, his heavy boots making a clanging sound against the stone floor. "Kylian's time is up," he announced, his voice stern and unfeeling.

Eden looked up from where she was sitting, her eyes widening in shock. "What do you mean?" she asked, her heart starting to race he could stay here with her he was the Alpha why were they going against his authority.

"He's been ordered to return immediately the Elders wants to speak to him. You'll have to stay here until your trial," the guard replied, his expression cold.

"I'll have to go we have to wun the council if want you escape this" Eden nodded slightly she agreed byt she didn't want to be left alone.

Kylian had promised her that he would get her released from the dungeon, but it seemed that his authority only went so far. Eden felt a pang of fear in her chest as she realized that there was no escape this time.

As the guard turned to leave, Kylian's words echoed in her mind. "Be str
