Met Her Match

Maya woke up to a beautiful sunny morning, with the birds chirping outside her window. As she was stretching, she noticed her closest guard standing in front of her with a serious expression. "What is it?" she asked, sensing that something was wrong.

"Maya, I have some news that you need to hear," he replied, his voice grave. "Diana has bought the stock you wanted and is now cooperating with the Blood Moon pack. They've canceled the agreement you had with them."

Maya's heart sank as she realized what this meant. Diana was playing dirty and using illegal means to remain luna, just like Maya was doing. For the first time, she felt afraid that she had met her match.

But Maya was not one to back down from a fight. She had worked hard to get where she was, and she wasn't going to let anyone take it away from her. "We need to fight back," she said to her guard. "We can't let Diana win."

Her guard nodded in agreement. "I'll gather the others and we'll start planning our next move."
