Elena understood that look on his face and she give up, even though she wanted to fight with him for her pack. Just like how Elena understood her brother's side of the point, George can appreciate his sister's side of the point, so he took a long sigh, trying to calm himself down, and said with a small comforting smile on his face "we cannot win against them Elena, understand this!, those are kings peoples, even king, himself come here to attack us so we will only lose, I don't know what happened to him and why he is behaving like this but I have to tell you this! you have to be the one to look after everyone". He knows everything that Elena doesn't know so he has to protect his little sister from all of these.
Elena is confused as she didn't understand why The king is attacking them as they are so many questions in her head but she knows that her brother can't answer any of those things. When her thoughts were interrupted by her brother's comforting and soft voice "turn around and see, everyone is here. They are your responsibility, I will be going out now! never come out and be here until everyone leaves and, uncle will come and pick you and everyone up ok?".
She didn't understand his words as she turned round to see them, the young wolves without thier parents. her face turned pale just by seeing them suffer, just like her so, she nodded her head in acceptance. She felt bad and guilty for letting her brother go alone to fight for her pack but, she couldn't do anything as she has to look after them and protect them as the daughter of Alpha. she has to do something, not to let anyone from the other side know that young werewolves are here. she is the only one responsible for this, so she took a long sigh trying to calm herself, then she looked around the room to see a better place to hide all the young wolves in the room, but there is none so she looks at the young wolves, saying trying to be bold and confident so they will trust her "nothing will happen, I will protect you guy so, don't worry about anything okay?".
All the young wolves nodded their head in fear of hearing the screams of people's pain, in getting killed out of the room. They are not supposed to go through any of these at their age but they are forced to see their family getting killed and running away from their own pack to another pack for protection and don't able to know anything about their pack other than getting attacked and killed.

Elena and all the young wolves with her waited for everything to end in pain. They can feel the pain everyone is undergoing out there, but they can't do anything. The screams started to decrease and after like 2 hours, it was completely silent outside. She waited for a few minutes but still, she can't hear anything so she assumed that everyone is dead and the king's people already left. Her heart clenched in pain just by the image of her family and pack disappearing in the night. She took a long sigh and stood up making herself strong as she should protect others now. She prepared herself to see her family's lifeless body.
Elena turned to see the young wolves and whispered with a small comforting smile "guys, don't move, and don't make any noise, I will be back". They nodded their head at the same time, staring at her with eyes filled with hope.
Elena took big and quiet steps towards the door on her toe without making any noise. Elena twisted and opened the door slightly without making any noise in fear and hoping that no one should be there, but her eyes widen seeing all the royal soldiers still there, searching for something. Then her eyes wandered around the room, seeing all her people dead and lifeless on the floor, her eyes turned teary and her body became weak as she felt so hurt and guilty at the same time. Elena broke down in tears as soon the door is closed, as she placed both of her hands on her mouth and tried not to let out her cry because she don't want anyone to hear her cries. she didn't understand why they didn't leave even after killing her whole pack. Then she turned back at the young wolves, who are staring at her with fear in thier eyes but she can still feel the hope in thier eyes because of her and this made her decide that no matter what happens she should protect them at all costs.
Elena turned to find the closets in the room and this give her an idea. She walks toward the young wolves and whispers "come with me". Then she made them sit inside the closet, hoping that they will be safe even if she get cought as she whispered again to everyone "don't ever make any sound and come out as long as it is not me and uncle J ok?". everyone nodded thier head as they trust Elena so much. Then she closed the door, felt relieved and that's when she heard someone's voice "did you check this room?".
"No, will do it now".Hearing this, Elena's heart dropped to her stomach in fear, she doesn't know what to do, she is just too scared to even think about them seeing her and the young wolves. Suddenly she thought about something so, she took her sword and pointed it towards the door so she can fight with them and distract them from seeing the young wolves.Elena's heartbeat stopped for a moment as she saw the door open with a bang, and saw the royal soldiers walk inside saw Elena's pointed sword, and then her. They turned to look at each other and started to laugh as if it is something funny.
"stop laughing like that! who are you guys?! what are you doing here?!" Elena shouted in anger with her intense graze, trying her best to be strong. she doesn't want them to see her as a weak woman even though she knows, she can't fight them."wow, trying to be brave? good but you should know you can't do anything to us" a man said walking towards Elena like a boss.
Elena pointed the sword on his chest, pressing it hard, and said with the same expression "stop right there! don't you dare come near me! you sick bastard!!".
