Leila’s sharp words left me completely and utterly speechless.

The “fool” she bitterly referred to was unmistakably the King, and I was shocked to hear a competitor in the Luna Selection speak so boldly about Cole. Anger seethed so strongly from her words that I couldn’t find the right response. I didn’t wish to annoy her further, but if someone were to overhear her, things would become dangerous.
