Hazel's Ward

Xander stood by Hazel's bed with Marcus, they had been with Lyra all afternoon, Killian had asked to be alone with her now.

"It's the fourth day, and she's still unconscious!" Marcus said and Xander just nodded slowly as he stared at Hazel.

"Eliza was apparently really powerful!" Xander answered absentmindedly.

"What do you plan to do about Lyra?!" Marcus asked.

"Lyra will be fine, but right now there's something strange and more important!" He whispered as he moved closer towards Hazel's bed and gently placed his hands on her forehead.
