Kane’s POV I was incensed by the attack on my Luna, even though I barely tolerated her. Mason was what you might call a “work in progress” in my torture chamber – the very worst part of my dungeon which Amy would never get to see, in any capacity. Being jittery about what might be going on with the Alpha King didn’t help. Should I have trusted Jake and Velma? Was my Beta up to the job? Why wasn’t he in regular communication with me?
