Ava's point of view

I stepped out of the castle into the morning sunrise, its warmth seeping into my body. I was with Josie, waiting for Kole before joining the others at the stable. Kole joined us soon enough, and the three of us gaited to the stables.

It has only been four days since my whole kidnap by Sebastian and his threat for war. Everything in the pack was back to normal, well not completely everything. Some things had undeniably changed.

Many of the pack members were already on their horses. Today was a special day, in honor of the hunting moon fast approaching the pack decided to host a hunt in the woods.

My eyes scanned around and it fell on Kaden. He was as usual with Cassandra, helping her mount on her horse. They have gotten quite close these past few days, I knew he was just using her to hurt me. I wanted to look away before he caught me staring, but instantly, his perfect emerald eyes met mine.
