Jackie spent the next few weeks trying to figure out what to do about being mated and marked by James, she found her true mate and now she needs to figure out what to do. Chapter ThirteenOver the course of the weekend the twins have been keeping an eye on Alpha James and his pack members that joined him at the ball, they found Jackie snooping around a few more times throughout the weekend and so Alpha Dillion and Daniel managed to change around the things they were able to and as far as the secrets she found, they are just going to have to notify the council about what they think she may have figured out, nobody is putting it past her that she is going to try and steal something or try to get her hands on something she feels like she deserves. Jaxson and Alex know them well enough to know they are up to something.So, they begin to change the rotation of the enforcers who guard the pack boarders, and they notify the council about what they have planned, and they also manage to notify any other surrounding packs in the area.With Jaxson and the boys making plans in his office the girls make plans for the kids in the pack to be prepared for a war just in case they manage to attack they make sure to have the panic room ready and set up for the kids and for any she-wolves that are not trained well enough for battle yet.With everything in place, Alex and Annie along with Elizabeth and Erin try to stay calm and relax a bit before things get worse, but they know it’s only a matter of time.

She made her way out to the Blue Moon pack boarders to find Caleb and to get him and his pack to ambush the enforcer guarding the border. On her way out she is stopped by one of her own enforcers.“Luna, what are you doing out so late? And so close to the boarder. It isn’t safe. There is a rogue pack nearby.”“It’s okay. I’m just out for a walk and I will be careful. Go about your business and don’t worry about me.”This put the enforcer on edge. It’s just…If you kill him with his mark still on me, I will feel it and it will affect me as it would any wolf who loses their mate. We need to find a way to remove his mark first. Please Caleb.”Caleb gives her a nod and move to turn to his enforcers.“Put him in the basement cells and we will figure out what to do in the morning.”Caleb then turns back to Jackie. EpilogueSix months LaterAlpha James and Jared have been working hard to get everything back on track after Jackie managed to destroy nearly everything within the pack.When she took off that night, they haven’t seen or heard from her or heard anything about her. They can only assume that she is somewhere in the world living as a rogue. They try not to think about the worst part of what could have happen to her. Jared can’t bring himself to think that way, even with the fact that after all the horrible things she has done, she is still his mother.Alpha James can’t bring himself to think the worst of it happening either, even after all the horrible things she has done to him, he still feels a bit of love for her, they were together for many years, they dated off and on in high school and they were mates throughout most of their adult lives together and after everything Alpha James can’t find it in his heart to hate her completely.
