The next week or so was busy. Chase told me that he wanted me to train with Zack so I could build my self defence up. Luna Elise wanted to spend time teaching me all the Luna duties and a sudden new big deal came up at work between Rose Bower International and us.
I was struggling to fit in the time to go see Jonathan, and part of me suspected that was the plan. I had a feeling that Chase was purposely having my schedule filled up, so I couldn’t see Jonathan. I got that he was just trying to protect me, but it was starting to get overbearing. Even if part of me does think he is right.

I didn’t know what was wrong with him, but I wasn’t risking it.Then the air shifted and Chase growled at me.
