Hunter couldn't sleep the whole night. He stayed awake staring at the ceiling while holding her in his arms. The morning came and Silvia stirred in his arms. She groggily opened her eyes and blinked at him a bit shocked before her lips quirked up at the corner and she smiled at him through those beautiful hazel dunes. "Good morning," She whispered. "Morning," Hunter rasped. Leaning in closer he kissed the crown of her head and her smile deepened. Silvia gulped realising she was naked and clinging to him. She cautiously tried to pull back but his arm around her waist didn't let her move. "Stay," He said. Voice gruff. All of a sudden he looked so serious. She was still embarrassed about what happened last night. Was he angry because she ruined the mood? But he was sweet to her when she fell asleep. She didn't know what to do or what to make of his solemn behavior. The worst-case scenarios which were right at the door of her head barged in and induced havoc. Silvia tried not to le
Silvia was anxious as she paced in her room. She hasn't eaten anything since morning and she has no appetite either. The girl was on edge. The worst possible thoughts kept invading her head no matter how much she tried to not think about it. She felt like she disappointed Hunter. He was looking forward to this moment but she failed immensely. What could she do to make up for him? Getting rid of her fear and trauma just like that wasn't in her control. She tried to recall his favorite food so she'll cook it for him but her brain had a short circuit. There was only one thing going on inside her head. She messed up. She didn't want to lose him. What if he stopped loving her? What if he became the old cold Hunter? The thought alone sent shivers down her spine. She has come so far to the point where she couldn't go back. Her body was trembling as she tried to calm down. She should talk to him. This was the only way through which she could solve this problem. If need be, she'll beg him
Silvia walked into the warehouse which reeked of cigarettes and booze. The hair at the nape of her neck stood at the familiar sneers that were thrown her way. She was clothed in black from top to bottom. Her eyes had lost the sparkle in them. She was cautious. Her stance was wary and her eyes observing as she made her way further into the warehouse. Alonso's men were everywhere. Silvia inhaled sharply when she saw Alpha Alonso sitting on a broken sofa in the middle of the crowd. Upon seeing her they parted ways as she trekked over to him. The eyes of his men on her had ants crawling on her skin. Silvia came to a stop right in front of him. She quietly kneeled and then bowed, touching her forehead on the floor as if prostrating in front of a God. His men snickered at her. Alonso tapped his foot on the side of her head and that was her cue to raise her head. She didn't even straighten when a harsh smack landed on her face causing her to fall to her side on the floor with a thud. Her
Silvia tried to control her fear. She took in slow deep breaths to calm her heart down while her eyes bounced around making sure Armando and his men weren't there. She watched as they all got ready. She was standing in the corner making sure to be small and fragile so they wouldn't notice her. Her eyes were fixed on all of them like a hawk. She noticed who was carrying which sort of weapon. Silvia had a rough idea about the number of warriors in Alonso's army. They were far less as compared to the Royal Army. But Alonso's men were vicious. They weren't skilled fighters like Moon Pack warriors. Alonso's men just know how to use brute force to win. Silvia was calm as the silent deep ocean when Alonso motioned her to open a portal. She let out a deep breath before filling her lungs with air. Her eyes snapped up and she let the power buzz through her veins. "I'll open three portals in total. One outside the hall gate, one at the main entrance, and one inside the hall," She said confi
One of Alonso's men rushed inside, heaving. "My king, we couldn't find the princess and her step sisters," The guy informed and Alonso's face soured. "The f*ck you mean? Look for them! They couldn't have escaped so far!" Alonso growled as some of his men hurried out to catch the princess. Silvia stiffened when she felt Alonso's gaze on her. She was quietly standing to his right. "Come here," He said, crooking his finger. She silently stepped towards him when he commanded her to kneel and she did. Alonso backhanded her with such force that she tumbled down the small flight of stairs before gathering her bearings as her cheek throbbed and vision blurred for a brief second while her ears ring. "You sent her somewhere right?" He snarled as she slowly pulled to her feet. "I did not, my king." She said calmly. Her eyes were fixed on the ground. His mem snickered at her in menace. If she sent the princess away, they would be deprived of all the fun. "Don't you dare lie to me!" Alonso
Alonso opened his eyes and the specs of copper in them had rage consuming her. He wiped her saliva with the back of his hand. He was killing her in a million different ways in his head. His eyes were murderous. "Bitch!" He barked, slapping her with such force she fell on the floor spitting out blood. Silvia stared at the dripping blood on the floor which was hazy. She shook her head lightly, blinking several times to clear her vision. She barely registered anything when he grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked her up to her feet. "You made a deadly mistake this time Silvia. I'll not forgive you for this betrayal. This time your punishment would be far more lethal." He gnashed, almost spitting his words out in menace. His body was shaking in rage. "Look around you. Your men are dying," Silvia croaked. Her head was tilted painfully because of his cruel grasp on her hair. Alonso looked around. She could feel rage bubbling inside him. But he only laughed out loud. Like a luna
He couldn't believe his eyes. She couldn't know anything. He was supposed to hide the truth from her because he had realized that he has feelings for her but she found out. Hunter stared at the spot from where she walked through the portal. He felt a hand on his shoulder and Luca appeared in front of him. At that moment Hunter realized he was kneeling beside his ruined car. "Hunter-" "She left," Hunter whispered in disbelief. He was still in a state of denial. His worst fear came alive. That was not possible. Luca pulled him to his feet and he turned around to find his whole family standing there staring at him. They had questions in their eyes. But the look in his mother's eyes twisted his heart. It was as if Emma knew he had hurt Silvia. They all left when Luca mind-linked them that he'll take care of Hunter. Instead of walking back into the mansion. He walked out. The clouds rumbled as Luca tried to stop him but he didn't stop. A chaos of emotions had caused havoc in
There was only one thing roaming his head. He couldn't lose her. He would die. He won't be able to live in regret and guilt. He just couldn't lose her. He wants his Silvia back. Rasmus had informed Draken and he was also reaching the palace along with his warriors. "Go faster!" He growled as Luca pushed the accelerator. He was driving at full speed. As soon as they got there all the cars stopped with a screeching noise and different places were lit on fire while the Royal guards were trying to fight off Alonso's men. Hunter stepped out of the car as he roared at his warriors and trainees and all of them charged forward. They took Alonso's men down one by one and Hunter noticed the vampires. "Where is Silvia?" He asked one of the vampires who seemed clueless about Silvia. "The witch," Hunter asked. "She's in the hall with Alonso," The vampire said and Hunter's heart constricted in dread. She was alone with Alonso. Memories of Rasmus fighting Alonso raked his head and
