Silvia was sitting silently leaning across the trunk of the tree as she gazed at the pond.

The wound on her stomach throbbed as well as her face. The kick was harsh, her cheek was all swollen and bruised but she could care less. She could always numb the pain by not thinking about it.

Silvia could heal her wounds but she didn't want to. With pain comes alleviation. Playing with the pebbles she threw one into the pond as the water splashed making a beautiful shape.

Silvia sighed, she wondered if Angela had woken up. She wanted to see her but she didn't want to face Hunter.

Though Silvia was excellent at coping with her pain, the silent ache in her heart was messing with her mind.

The way Hunter talked to her kept playing in her head like a reel. She was unconsciously caressing her arm where he had held her so brutally. She was sure it would be purple by now.

She didn't blame him though. She was a villain and no matter what, he was supposed to think of her in that light.
