"Why did you leave without my permission?" He gritted. Voice sharp as a blade.
"I'm not obliged to take your permission," She snapped standing up straight, pushing his hand away. She glared him dead in the eyes as their noses almost touched.
She had to crane her neck to look at him while he hovered over her, peering down at her in rage.
"First, you barged into m...my house looking for Agatha and w...when you had no option. You dragged me to the hospital knowing fully well, I can't control my magic," She snapped angrily.
His eyes narrowed in warning. "But you ended up saving him. Only skilled in magic can do that," He rasped.
"Move," She said through clenched teeth. He was too close.
Her eyes widened as she flinched back when he took a step closer crowding in her personal space. His body was just an inch away from touching hers as her shoulders were hunched.
"Make me," He said.
She didn't like him one bit. She was so at peace being away from him for the past months but now he has found her hiding spot and he would not stop without torturing her.
"Hunter,"
"Silvia," She hated him because he was so handsome saying her name so beautifully and that it was distracting.
"I'm not your chauffeur," She muttered.
Just because she could open a portal anywhere. He expected her to drop him at his pack house. When she didn't do that and simply left quietly. He was pissed.
"Did he contact you?" He asked out of the blue causing her brows to furrow.
She didn't have to ask him to know whom he was talking about.
"I told you before and I'm telling you again. I don't have any contact with Alonso. He must be thirsty for my blood because I left his pack," She grounded and he clicked his tongue.
She tried to sound strong and composed but her heart was a quivering mess. His intimidating aura was enough to keep her on edge.
Hunter was the man who seemed to enjoy the fear in her eyes which was why she was trying very hard not to show him any.
"Persistent enough. Keep playing innocent. But no worries, soon I'll bring your real face in front of everyone," He said nonchalantly as if he didn't just threaten her for something she hasn't even done.
"I'm not-"
"Time for your punishment," He smiled.
Her eyes widened when he hauled her up over his shoulder before stalking out of the cottage. She screamed, slamming her fists on his back, struggling wildly. Afraid of not knowing where he was taking her. "Let go," She screamed on the verge of tears.
He abruptly stopped, hauling her up in the air before catching her in his arms bridal style as she shrieked.
Their eyes locked.
"This is for leaving me behind," He said and she shook her head staring at the dark pond horrified.
But the heartless man paid no heed to her and before she could trick him. He tossed her into the pond as water splashed around her.
She gasped loudly while emerging to the surface. Her heart pounded in her ears as she blinked her wide eyes, rapidly wheezing.
It was cold.
She coughed wrapping her arms around her trembling frame as bitter tears gathered in her eyes.
She hates him so much.
Ever since she escaped that hell. Hunter has made sure to make her life difficult. She hated how he didn't trust her one bit and looked at her with doubtful eyes as if he was sure she was a traitor or something.
She was glad to leave the moon pack and come to live with Agatha knowing she won't be facing him but now he knows where she lives and he would hurt her more.
Her chin wobbled as she tried her best to keep her tears at bay.
Hunter crouched near the edge peering down at her shivering frame. "I'm not soft-hearted like my brother. So don't even expect me to be kind to you." He said.
Those jade pearls glided over her trembling frame, pausing at her delicate neck that bobbed as she gulped. His eyes snapped back up. She wasn't looking at him. But her face was ashen. She was terrified of him yet she wouldn't tell him the truth.
"Tell me what you're planning with Alonso and I won't hurt you," He gritted.
"G... Go to hell," She snapped and his eyes widened slightly at her dare.
"Why don't I make hell for you here?" He hissed, pulling to his feet as she instantly opened a portal under her feet before drowning in the water.
Silvia gasped coughing out water with her hands resting on the rugged forest ground as she wheezed.
Tears sting the back of her eyes as she holds them back. She scooted back before resting her back on the trunk breathing heavily. She just opened the portal into the forest a little away from the cottage.
She can't bear to be near that man.
She hates him for doubting her.
Everyone in his family trusts her and was kind to her except for him. What does he think of himself? Just because he was powerful, he thinks he could do anything?
She won't let him treat her like this. She'll learn to control her magic and give him this treatment back with interest.
Staring up at the patches of sky visible through the trees. She sighed.
"Only if you were with me, Mom. Things wouldn't have been like this," She whispered brokenly wiping the single tear that escaped her eye.
Hugging her arms around herself she tried to keep herself warm from the cold. Her head was dizzy. She was already drained from using all her magic in saving Draken and now Hunter made her go through this.
He possesses no heart. A cruel Alpha.
She must avoid him at all costs.
"That witch!" He rumbled coldly kicking the huge stone causing it to splash into the water. It was because of her he had to take a cab from the hospital earlier. And that bloody driver dropped him on the highway, saying he can't go any further. There were no f*cking signals. He had to walk on his feet for a while before swallowing down his pride and asking for a ride from someone. The man who felt humiliated sitting in a mere cab had to ask for a lift. Such a shame. His Mustang must be very disappointed in him. It was all because of that hazel-eyed witch. He couldn't even shift in that area because of the wolf hunters in the woods. He would've taught her a proper lesson. But where the hell did she disappear to? He saw golden glittery rims of the portal in the depth of the pond. This portal magic of hers was riling him to a great extent. Why was she crying and playing that innocent card of hers? Did she think she could fool him like everyone else? That was very stupid of her.Walking b
She tried to free her arm but his hold was too lethal, promising to leave a bruise. His rich cologne and that earthy scent reaches her nose. It was nice and alluring but he was anything but that. "Let go. You're hurting me," She said, trying to free her arm but he didn't free her. She was trembling like a leaf and the quivers intensified when he took a step closer, his body brushing against hers as she flinched back. Her shoulders were hunched and tears brimmed her eyes. She was terrified out of her wits as the girl chewed on her bottom lip so as not to let the whimpers out. What if her crying triggered him and he ended up hurting her more? The way her lower lip quivered as her lashes fluttered in pain with tears hanging at the brim of her lower lashes finally slid down her cheek followed by another then another as she bit on her lip hard avoiding his gaze. Hunter knew then and there that she was hiding something. Hunter was known well for his instincts. He believes whatever hi
Silvia couldn't sleep the whole night. Though she had locked the cottage she kept tossing and turning on the bed. Her senses were hyper-aware, she was afraid that he might show up again. Never in a billion years, she thought her life would become more difficult after escaping Alonso. At first, she was afraid that Alonso would find her but now her fear was doubled thanks to Hunter. She was scared that he might show up again and torment her. The girl stared at her reflection in the mirror as her tired eyes peered back at her. She looked drained. She couldn't understand his craze for unveiling her secrets when there were none. How could he blame her for being a criminal just on his instincts? She couldn't even make him understand because he didn't want to listen. How was she supposed to cope with this torture?Sulking, she freshened up and ate cereal. Once done with the breakfast, Silvia opened the windows and sighed feeling the fresh air caressing her skin. The best thing about stay
He was standing near the doorway leaning against the door frame watching her like a hawk. Silvia had enough of him. She couldn't breathe normally with his daunting presence looking over her like a death sentence. With all the mustered-up courage she slammed the spatula on the slab before stomping over to him. Hunter seemed unfazed as he watched her. "Stop this, why don't you leave me alone?" She asked through clenched teeth. "So that you can contact Alonso? I wonder if you go to him each time you disappear into your portal," He said in a cold tone causing her heart to clench at his accusation. "You and I both know there's nothing like that. So stop keeping an eye on me. I'm not a prisoner," She grounded and he tilted his head. "Be grateful I'm being nice and only keeping my eyes on you when I could be far more dangerous. I bet you won't like that," He said coldly, causing chills to run down her spine. She wanted to stab her fingers into those jade orbs and make him go blind bu
Months passed and there was no clue about her or Alonso. Hunter has been searching for her along with three of his best trackers but they just couldn't get a hold of him. It was like Alonso didn't even exist. Before Silvia wasn't with Alonso, Hunter could still track him from time to time but Alonso would escape before Hunter could reach him but this time he couldn't even track him. Hunter was sure it was all thanks to that witch who was helping him hide with ease. He knew she works for Alonso all along. He left for one day and she vanished with ease making a fool out of him. He couldn't sleep at night thinking of ways he'd torture her once he will catch her. Never in his life had he let an enemy escape from under his nose but she did. The reason all of this infuriated him, even more, was her innocent act. He sprang up on the bed, tossing the sheets away he changed into his gym wear and stomped in there. With a clenched jaw, he threw solid punches at the punching bag. With each o
"Almost," He hissed, pulling the car over with a screeching noise near the other black cars, there were three of them with their doors opened and no soul around. His men had called him a couple of minutes ago saying they were attacked by the witch and those men with her while following them. They were able to kill a few before Hunter lost contact. Hunter dashed towards the scent of his men only to find the dead body of someone dressed in black. It didn't take him much time to realize this must be one of the men with her. He heard groans as his pace fastened and he came to an opening. His eyes fell on the number of guys surrounding his men while a man was escaping away, he was carrying someone in his arms. Hunter instantly knew that f*cker was escaping with Silvia. The intense urge to catch her was strong but he couldn't do that at the sacrifice of his men. "YOU MOTHERF*CKERS! GREET YOUR FATHER," Hunter snarled, charging at them. Both of his claws extended out as he slashed one of
Silvia woke up with a startle, her whole body jerked badly. The girl blinked a couple of times to clear her blurry vision. Her eyes widened realizing that her wrists were restrained and there was a tape on her mouth. Big panicked eyes looked around the place only to find herself in an unknown room. There was a bed in front of her, a wardrobe in the corner, a couch behind her, and two doors. One must be her way out of here. The first thought that crossed her mind was that she got abducted. She just prayed that some of the men with her survived and convey the message to Alonso that she was kidnapped because he would think she escaped. She can't have him thinking negatively. He'll kill her. Fear began to coil in her heart as worst-case scenarios began piling in. It could be possible that the Alpha King got her abducted. But Alonso made sure Alpha King won't find out that she was a seer. She was taken to deliver the message to Alpha King from Alonso. Silvia would've used her magic of
"So where shall we start? How about when you escaped while I was gone?" He asked calmly. "I didn't escape." She said quickly. He didn't say anything so she continued. "I was there in the forest looking for herbs when a few men came out of nowhere. They injected something in me and when I woke up I was at Alonso's hideout," She said. "You want me to believe this happened the day when I wasn't there? A super duper coincidence?" He asked pointedly. "They kidnapped me," She whispered. "Fine, I'll let it slide fast forward. Why," He abruptly grabbed her jaw in a tough grip jerking her face up so their eyes could meet as he continued, "The f*ck you abducted my sister?" He sneered in menace squeezing her jaw painfully as her eyes snapped shut trying to free herself from his cruel hold. "Alownso fworced mwe to," She muffled because her cheeks were squished so she could barely form coherent words. "And you want me to believe that?" He hissed. Jerking her face away he grabbed her l
