Tristan cracks me up!
Third Person's POV Asher watched the way Atticus was with his son and the Alpha couldn't be happier. It was everything he wanted for his son and more. Asher used to hope Harris would get an Omega. But seeing Harris sitting in Atticus' lap. Seeing how caring, loving, and attentive Atticus is to Harris is even better! The more he watches his son with Atticus, the more he sees things he never saw before, how submissive his son is for an Alpha. The more he thinks about it, the more things make sense. It explains why Harris has always been more sensitive than other Alphas, or any of the men in the Thorn family. Asher's eyes go to Atticus’ hand as it moves to rest on Harris' stomach protectively, and his heart warms. Asher gives a silent thanks to the Moon Goddess for giving his son the best mate she could have ever given him. The Alpha's attention is brought to Michael when he laughs at whatever Brian and Tristan are saying. His laughter was beautiful, just like Noah's, Asher tho
Third Person's POV Michael woke up and the space next to him was cold. Michael forced his eyes open and saw Asher holding a pillow tightly which would have normally been Noah. Michael almost laughed, Asher looked kind of cute hugging that pillow.Michael sat up and realized Noah was nowhere in the room. Pulling the covers back, the Alpha climbed out of bed and walked down the hall. The sound of his children's voices could be heard the closer he got to the kitchen. As Michael entered the kitchen, he could see Noah sitting at the table with their three children, all eating cereal and chatting.Michael entered the dining room and the children's faces lit up. Michael didn't miss the fact that Noah's body tensed and he immediately stopped eating.Michael made his way to the children who were eager for a morning kiss. Michael hugged each child and kissed their head before leaning down to kiss Noah, but he ducked away. The Alpha grabbed Noah firmly and held the Omega in place. Noah's stomac
Third Person's POV Noah was long gone by the time his mates woke up. He took the kids out for an early morning stroll through town. The cooler morning air was refreshing, and the twins were tucked away in the stroller as Evelyn skipped along beside Noah. “Daddy?” Evelyn's angelic little voice suddenly spoke, pulling Noah from his thoughts. “Yes, princess?” “I hope you're happy again soon. It makes me sad when you're sad.” Noah forced a smile and felt guilty she could feel it. Even with his walls firmly up, Evelyn can feel his sadness. It's like she has a gift. It doesn't matter how hard someone tries to hide their sadness, Evelyn can feel it. There's not a wall that can hide someone's feelings from her. “Don't worry about it, sweetie! Daddy's okay. I'm just having a rough few days, but I'll be okay.” Evelyn looked up at her dad and studied his eyes and face for a moment before looking forward again. “Not for a while. It'll be a long time before you're the same again, or as
Third Person's POV Noah yawned as he stumbled down the hall and into the kitchen. He reached into the cabinet and pulled out a cup before sticking a K-cup in the coffee maker and turning it on. Noah groaned as he dropped his forehead against the counter and waited for the darn Keurig to take its sweet time pouring his coffee. ‘This is the newest one, and the damn thing is still as slow as the original!’ Noah thought and then yawned as he reached back and scratched his ass, feeling his boxers move, and ignoring the cold against his body as he stood there in nothing but boxers, and his hair a mess from just waking up. Tingles dance along his sides before large strong hands slip around his waist and pull the Omega back against a rock-hard chest. Asher's scent wraps around the Omega and he leans his head back and hums with his eyes closed, ignoring the chuckle coming from the large Alpha. A shiver runs down Noah's spine when lips press against his shoulder and a thumb caresses his stoma
Third Person's POV Michael was excited as he pulled everything off of the stovetop and placed it all onto the serving plates. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the onions and peppers were sauteed just right! Michael made sure there was plenty of cheese, sour cream, and pico for Noah. The Alpha stood back and smiled as he looked at the chicken fajitas he prepared for his mate, and hoped he would like it. It's one of Noah's favorites, and he hasn't made it in a while. Michael knows the Omega won't be able to turn down fajitas. And as a little surprise, Michael went to Thaddeus' place and picked up a Boston cream pie that Grace made specially for Noah. Michael's head snaps in the direction of the front door when he hears it open. Noah slowly enters the apartment with his head low. He looked as though he was trying to be invisible as he entered. Michael rounds the island and pulls out a chair for Noah who immediately stiffens. “Come on love,” Michael said softly. Noah sto
Third Person's POV Maddox's head snapped up from his laptop when Lucian suddenly appeared before him in the bedroom. The Omega's hands quickly slapped over his face, “Oh, Goddess! Oh Goddess!” Lucian's voice was distressed as he began pacing. Maddox closed the laptop and set it on the nightstand before climbing out of bed. “Lucian baby, What's wrong?” “I don't know what's going on, I keep teleporting when I sneeze and I end up in most random places. I've now seen two things I never wanted to see in my entire life! The first was Noah taking a dump! You never want to see that! His little face was so red, you should have seen it! It looked like his face was going to explode! No, you don't want to see it! And Goddess, what did that Omega eat? The smell was awful!” Lucian said and Maddox cringed. “And just now, oh my baby girl! I never, oh Goddess!” Lucian said and then shook his head, wishing he could burn the image from his mind of Ryder plowing into his daughter on the kitchen tab
Third Person's POV Even though it was just a meeting, Harris was a nervous wreck. Only Atticus' people and Harris' friends and family know he's a submissive Alpha and pregnant. And now he's about to tell the rest of his friends and family. In the large conference room sits Harris, Atticus, Zane, Asher, Noah, Michael, Thaddeus, Aiden, Julian, Reid, Matthew, Isabel, Maddox, Finn, Addison, Christian, Cain, Gabriel, Justin, Malaki, and, Tristan and Cyrus around the large oval table. Some know why they are gathered, the others do not and their curiosity is piqued. Atticus squeezes Harris' hand reassuringly before leaning over and kissing his cheek. The larger Alpha stands and lets his eyes linger on each face before he begins speaking. “What I'm about to say is not a joke in any way shape or form.” Atticus pauses and lets his eyes roam the room once more, making sure everyone can see how serious he is. “Yes we are aware that this is unusual and has never happened before, but now it h
Third Person's POV After asking around, Thaddeus found Noah curled up under a tree near the back corner of the backyard. He was curled up in a tight little ball with his head resting on his hands. The sight would have normally melted Thaddeus's heart, He looked adorable! But instead of melting his heart, it broke it. Thaddeus quietly approached Noah and gently scooped his son off the ground before sitting down and placing him in his lap. The Omega yawned as he nuzzled against his father's chest and almost wanted to purr as his father's scent wrapped around him. The Omega's blue eyes fluttered open and landed on his father's eyes. Noah's eyes closed again when Thaddeus leaned down and kissed his forehead. Thaddeus looked off into the woods as he thought. “What Michael said to you was wrong on so many levels. He was mad and scared about what was going to happen to Harris, I get that. He wasn't sure where that anger came from, so he assumed it was because you laughed and hurt Harris
Third Person’s POV The sound of Evelyn's laughter rings out. The little Omega covers her mouth while she laughs at the icing all over Nadja's face. The Elder was taken off guard this time. Evelyn didn't give him a chance to anticipate what was coming. She simply called his name and when the elder turned she stuffed a cupcake into his face. As shocked as Nadja was, the beautiful sound of her laughter was worth it. He sat there for a moment before bringing the napkin in his lap to his face. Evelyn continued to laugh as she stood up and took the napkin from Nadja. The Omega sat sideways on his lap as she cleaned the icing from his face. After wiping the icing from his eyes they fluttered open and Evelyn froze, her breath caught and her heart skipped a beat for the first time. Nadja froze when he heard her heart skip. For a moment the Elder couldn't move. After a moment Nadja reached up and took the napkin with one hand while bringing his left hand to her creamy white cheek. “Thank y
Third Person's POV Grayson laughed as he ran from his growling brother. Ezra didn't find it funny when his brother froze his entire bowl of soup as he dug his spoon into it. The little King tried to ignore his brother as he brought his cup of juice to his mouth just to have the frozen contents slide out and hit his nose. Ezra growled as he reached out and shocked Grayson. The Future Alpha King yelped and then took off running with Ezra hot on his tail. Silas ran his hand down his face as he watched the two brothers chase each other around the yard. Grayson, now 10, created a snowball in his hand and threw it at his brother, hitting him square in the nose. This only infuriated Ezra and the 8-year-old thrust his hands forward, shocking Grayson. Grayson grunts as his body falls to the ground mid-sprint. Grayson blinks his eyes just in time to see Ezra lunging for him. His eyes widened as he tried to roll away but he was too late. The younger brother landed on top of Grayson and quickl
Third Person's POV It's been 5 years since Harris had their first child. A year and a half later their son Niles was born. He's an omega, a dragon/werewolf hybrid at the curious age of 3 and 1/2. Atticus doesn't know if they'll have any more kids. But his heart is content knowing he and his mate brought two dragons into this world. Not only that, they honored his Father and the Dad he had for such a short time. Michael got over his anger with Noah removing his tubes rather quickly. Asher on the other hand had to keep his walls up constantly. Onyx was devastated. He had hoped for more children, even though Noah expressed his desire not to have anymore. Onyx couldn't wrap his head around why Noah would take something like that from him. He didn't understand it, even after Asher's explanation. Onyx wished he would have kept a closer eye on Noah. The Alpha wolf was adamant that he would have never let the Omega take something like that from him. The Alpha wolf was so angry at Noah, tha
Third Person's POV Xavier stuck the bottle into the warmer and nervously glanced at Theo. The Omega rocked back and forth as Vivian fed from him. Damien was out cold on the couch due to Vivian having a hard time sleeping last night so the Beta was up with her. Xavier scratched the back of his neck as he struggled to find words for the Omega. He felt beyond guilty for the thoughts that went through his head at the hospital, and for the way he snapped at Theo when he asked a simple question about their child's name. Xavier hated the thoughts that went through his head when he felt Damien die and he hated that those thoughts didn't go away while he waited for Damien to wake up. The Alpha wasn't sure what to say, or how to make amends, or how to make things right again. Xavier wished Theo would be mad at him. He wanted the Omega to lash out, shout at him, yell, scream, or hit him. He felt he deserved it and so much more. After laying Vivian in her swing, Theo went back into the kit
Third Person's POV Xavier can't feel anything beyond the excruciating pain of the broken mate bond, and his broken heart. He can't even bring himself to comfort his hurt omega who is curled up in the fetal position on the floor next to him, sobbing uncontrollably. As much as he loves Theo, the Alpha can't function without his Beta who saved him all those years ago. Damien was the very air he breathed. His heart feels like it was ripped from his chest. He doesn't want to live without Damien. The Alpha's head reels as he feels the death of his little mate, and he can't figure out how to go on without him. Xavier sucks in a breath before leaning forward and screaming. Spit connects his lips as he screams while tears flow down his face and drip from his chin. The doctor works fast trying to stop the bleeding and clear out as much blood as he could so he could see. With the baby out, the doctor pulls the top of the uterus out and is shocked at how thin and weak it is. It's practically
Third Person's POV Harris slowly breathed as he held his stomach. Another nurse burst into the room and quickly began asking Harris questions. Harris almost felt dizzy with how fast everything was moving. One moment they were in the backyard relaxing, the next minute Finn was in labor, then Damien, and now he might be as well. It was all too much, too soon. Harris wasn't ready. What if they didn't have everything they needed? What if he messes up? What if he isn't good enough, and fails at being a Dad? What if it isn't a dragon, and he fails to give Atticus what he has been hoping for? Harris blinks his eyes several times and a face inches from his own comes into view. Harris realizes Atticus is holding his face. “Stop!... Everything is going to be just fine! We have everything we need and so much more. Of course, we're both going to mess up, but we're going to learn from our mistakes and do better. We're not perfect, no one is! But you will never fail at being a dad! You are going
Third Person's POV “My water broke!” Addison took a sharp breath in as Maddox rushed forward, scooping his mate into his arms and praying his little angel didn't sneeze again. No one had to say anything, it was like they worked as one mind as everyone rushed through the pack house and out the front door. The sound of two engines roared to life as the vehicles sped out racing towards the hospital. “How are you feeling? Are you in any pain?” Addison asked as she adjusted Lucian's legs over her lap. “No, not yet. Just a little discomfort in my back.” Lucian said and then slowly exhaled as his stomach became tight. Addison looked between Finn's stomach that was exposed and his face. “How bad was that one?” Addison asked when Finn's body relaxed. “Not that bad. It's just a little stronger than the Braxton Hicks.” Finn said as he rubbed his belly. The Omega closed his eyes and leaned back against Maddox as Addison caressed his stomach. Addison looked into Maddox's eyes and could
Third Person's POV As Atticus steps out the back door he breathes a sigh of relief seeing the many heaters on the patio. Fall has just arrived and Harris can't stand the cold. Dragons prefer very warm temperatures, but little dragons need and crave the heat even more. Harris' body is responding to the growing dragon in his womb, reacting as if he himself was a dragon. The smaller Alpha wears a sweater during the day while everyone else is wearing t-shirts. In the evening he snuggles inside a warm thick coat while everyone else is simply wearing long-sleeved shirts. Draven doesn't mind, in fact he loves it. He's a proud mate and father, ever protective and attentive. Their apartment is never below 78, and whenever they're snuggling or sleeping, Draven heats Atticus' body, warming their mate and growing hatchling. Addison holds the door open and watches each Alpha carefully lead their very pregnant mate out of the back door and onto the patio. Damien winces and Xavier is immediately co
Third Person's POV Harris swears his stomach wasn't this big yesterday. He feels like his stomach doubled in size overnight. Even though he's now five months pregnant, Harris was before somewhat able to hide it with large baggy shirts, but now there's no way for the Alpha to hide his ever growing abdomen. The car comes to a stop and Harris dreads stepping out of it. Especially since their little town seems so active right now. There are tons of people walking up and down the sidewalk, coming and going from each shop. Harris' hand protectively rests against his stomach, trying to hide his pregnancy. Harris nibbles on his lip before turning to look at his Alpha. “You know, we don't have to go shopping today. And, I can just get something to eat at home. Why don't we just go back!” Harris was hoping to change Atticus' mind, but the larger Alpha simply gave him a soft smile before climbing out of the car. “Damn it!” Harris cursed as he turned and looked out the window, watching all t
