Who guessed right? Is Draven what you thought he was?
Third Person's POV Annabelle, Ron, Nick, and Austin stayed near the pack house, fighting off the enemies alongside Harris' men. They were thankful their weak members were allowed to hide in the bunkers. But as the fight raged, they became scared when they realized the pack was being overrun. The enemy just kept coming, and Harris' men were falling. The team of four blood ran cold when their eyes landed on a familiar face as he emerged from the tree line. Ron pulled Annabelle behind him as the person that destroyed their pack approached with a sinister grin on his face. "William!" Annabelle whispered as she gripped Ron's back. There he was, the asshole himself who's been hunting them down, slowly killing what's left of their pack after destroying it. Alpha William laughs as he walks forward, stepping away from Brody's father when he realized who's been hiding in this pack. "Well isn't this a pleasant surprise! I get to kill two birds with one stone! How about that!" Atti
Third Person's POV Atticus hears a groan and he turns, taking Harris out of Asher's arms, and placing him into his arms in an instant. The smaller Alpha groans as he moves his head. Atticus' heart beats faster, anticipating those beautiful brown eyes to open. The larger Alpha's heart skips a beat when those eyes finally open. Harris blinks his eyes until his mate's face comes into focus. The smaller Alpha takes a breath in as he looks at Atticus. Harris brings his hand to Atticus' face as he searches his eyes. His heart skips a beat when flames flicker in the larger Alpha's eyes, and he can smell the scent of ash. "Draven!... You're so beautiful!" Harris said softly as he looked into those eyes of flames. A rumble rose from the larger Alpha's chest and he closed his eyes as he pressed their foreheads together. "My beautiful mate! I love you!" Draven's deep, thick voice spoke to his mate. The Alpha's body became warmer, much warmer, and the scent of ash became even thicker w
Third Person's POV Tristan turned around and saw his mate staring at him. The smaller Beta looked down and began dragging his toe through the dirt nervously, afraid to look at Cyrus. The larger Beta came closer, fingers gently gripping Tristan's chin, lifting his face, forcing the smaller Beta to look at Cyrus. When Tristan's eyes met Cyrus', he did the only thing he could think of, he flashed his pearly whites, "Hi!" Cyrus raised an eyebrow, somehow that reminded him of Brian. "Little mate-" "Hey, I'm not that little! Just because you're incredibly large, doesn't mean I'm little! I'm... Average!" Tristan said, folding his arms over his chest and grinning. Cyrus' lips tugged up and Tristan squeaked as he was suddenly lifted and crushed against a rock-hard chest. "You're cute!" Cyrus said as he buried his face in his mate's neck and took a deep breath in. Tristan melted in Cyrus' arms and his head dropped to his mate's neck. "We'll talk about that secret of yours later, b
Third Person's POV River clung to Brian, even once they were in their room. The Omega couldn't help it, he didn't want to let go. He was afraid Brian might disappear if he did. "Sweetheart, I need to set you down so I can take a shower," Brian said softly as he grabbed River's back. Brian once again tried to set the Omega down, but he whimpered and held on tighter. Brian let out a sigh and looked towards the bathroom. Brian's lips tugged up, smirking and then he walked into the bathroom. Brian reached into the shower and turned it on before grabbing a towel and washcloth from the shelf. Brian hiked River up higher and then pushed his basketball shorts down with one hand while holding River with the other. The Omega was oblivious to what Brian was doing. His nose was buried in the Delta's neck and his eyes were closed. His warm breath fanned Brian's neck with each breath he exhaled. It wasn't until Brian stepped into the shower, and River felt the warm water on his arm th
Third Person's POV Harris has been asleep for a little over 24 hours and Atticus has been by his side the whole time. The room smells like ash, it seeps into the halls as Draven heats Atticus' body. The heat from Atticus' body warms their little Alpha, who is wrapped in his arms, flush against his chest. Atticus stares at his mate's face, memorizing every line, every curve, every beautiful perfect imperfection. The short stubble on Harris’ face and his lips that are not too small not too large, they're perfect! His nose is so cute and small, his eyebrows are perfect, and every hair is just right. His short dark brown hair is so thick and seems to have a slight curl. His skin has a beautiful natural tan that Atticus can't stop touching. The Alpha's fingers trail over Harris' shoulder and down his arm before gliding across his back. Atticus' eyes closed and he pressed his forehead against Harris'. Warmth radiates from his chest, and pressure rises inside Atticus as he passes so
Third Person's POV Harris slowly wakes to the sound of each breath exhaled, and the steady rise and fall of his mate's chest. Tingles are felt almost everywhere throughout Harris' body, as his naked body rests on its side, intertwined and pressed against his Alpha. His eyes open and Harris' lips curl in a soft smile when he sees his beast sleeping. How can something look so peaceful when it sleeps, be so incredibly large, and incredibly deadly when awake and shifted... Pride fills Harris' chest knowing how strong his mate is. He had never seen anything like it, and yet all he saw was the underside of his mate's belly. He saw its large belly, long thick neck, and chin, all covered in scales of three different colors. A dark brick red, dark gray, and stone blue. In between every scale glowed with flames, as if the inside of his beautiful beast was on fire. He was magnificent! Harris watched his mate sleep. He watched his chest rise and fall. He smiled when Atticus' face twitch
Third Person's POV Atticus felt his mate fall asleep. His body became heavy against him, his limbs became limp, and each breath became heavy. Atticus pulled his body up, his elbow pressing into the bed as he propped his head on his hand. The larger Alpha looked at his mate, who had still not quite regained all of his energy and the sexual stimulation he gave Harris drained him quickly. In the beginning, Atticus kept them both naked for two reasons. One was because Draven could heat Atticus' body, and warm his mate who was plastered to his body, the other reason was Atticus had the ability to continue to heal Harris through skin-to-skin contact. He can transfer his strength to Harris that was lost from the critical wounds, and the loss of his people. So with them both naked, Atticus' naked body pressed against Harris', he was able to transfer his strength and energy to Harris and continue to heal and strengthen him. It would have taken Harris two weeks on his own to be 100%. But
Third Person's POV As Harris finishes buttoning up his shirt and fixing his hair, he can't stop thinking about the shower he just had. He knew Atticus was strong, and he knew that mouth could do wonders, but he never knew that position was even possible! He can still feel his legs draped over the large Alpha's shoulders and feel the cold shower tiles against his back while Atticus takes him down his throat. He held on for his life, his fingers weaving through the Alpha's hair, gripping it as his legs shook, and hoped he wouldn't fall off his mate's shoulders. But his mate never let him fall. Atticus stood with his mate's back pressed against the shower, his legs draped over his shoulders and a firm grip on his hips as he growled around Harris' cock. His tongue pressed and flicked against the underside of Harris' cock as he moved it in and out of his mouth. Harris could have sworn the whole pack heard him screaming Atticus' name as he came down the Alpha's throat. His whole bod
Third Person’s POV The sound of Evelyn's laughter rings out. The little Omega covers her mouth while she laughs at the icing all over Nadja's face. The Elder was taken off guard this time. Evelyn didn't give him a chance to anticipate what was coming. She simply called his name and when the elder turned she stuffed a cupcake into his face. As shocked as Nadja was, the beautiful sound of her laughter was worth it. He sat there for a moment before bringing the napkin in his lap to his face. Evelyn continued to laugh as she stood up and took the napkin from Nadja. The Omega sat sideways on his lap as she cleaned the icing from his face. After wiping the icing from his eyes they fluttered open and Evelyn froze, her breath caught and her heart skipped a beat for the first time. Nadja froze when he heard her heart skip. For a moment the Elder couldn't move. After a moment Nadja reached up and took the napkin with one hand while bringing his left hand to her creamy white cheek. “Thank y
Third Person's POV Grayson laughed as he ran from his growling brother. Ezra didn't find it funny when his brother froze his entire bowl of soup as he dug his spoon into it. The little King tried to ignore his brother as he brought his cup of juice to his mouth just to have the frozen contents slide out and hit his nose. Ezra growled as he reached out and shocked Grayson. The Future Alpha King yelped and then took off running with Ezra hot on his tail. Silas ran his hand down his face as he watched the two brothers chase each other around the yard. Grayson, now 10, created a snowball in his hand and threw it at his brother, hitting him square in the nose. This only infuriated Ezra and the 8-year-old thrust his hands forward, shocking Grayson. Grayson grunts as his body falls to the ground mid-sprint. Grayson blinks his eyes just in time to see Ezra lunging for him. His eyes widened as he tried to roll away but he was too late. The younger brother landed on top of Grayson and quickl
Third Person's POV It's been 5 years since Harris had their first child. A year and a half later their son Niles was born. He's an omega, a dragon/werewolf hybrid at the curious age of 3 and 1/2. Atticus doesn't know if they'll have any more kids. But his heart is content knowing he and his mate brought two dragons into this world. Not only that, they honored his Father and the Dad he had for such a short time. Michael got over his anger with Noah removing his tubes rather quickly. Asher on the other hand had to keep his walls up constantly. Onyx was devastated. He had hoped for more children, even though Noah expressed his desire not to have anymore. Onyx couldn't wrap his head around why Noah would take something like that from him. He didn't understand it, even after Asher's explanation. Onyx wished he would have kept a closer eye on Noah. The Alpha wolf was adamant that he would have never let the Omega take something like that from him. The Alpha wolf was so angry at Noah, tha
Third Person's POV Xavier stuck the bottle into the warmer and nervously glanced at Theo. The Omega rocked back and forth as Vivian fed from him. Damien was out cold on the couch due to Vivian having a hard time sleeping last night so the Beta was up with her. Xavier scratched the back of his neck as he struggled to find words for the Omega. He felt beyond guilty for the thoughts that went through his head at the hospital, and for the way he snapped at Theo when he asked a simple question about their child's name. Xavier hated the thoughts that went through his head when he felt Damien die and he hated that those thoughts didn't go away while he waited for Damien to wake up. The Alpha wasn't sure what to say, or how to make amends, or how to make things right again. Xavier wished Theo would be mad at him. He wanted the Omega to lash out, shout at him, yell, scream, or hit him. He felt he deserved it and so much more. After laying Vivian in her swing, Theo went back into the kit
Third Person's POV Xavier can't feel anything beyond the excruciating pain of the broken mate bond, and his broken heart. He can't even bring himself to comfort his hurt omega who is curled up in the fetal position on the floor next to him, sobbing uncontrollably. As much as he loves Theo, the Alpha can't function without his Beta who saved him all those years ago. Damien was the very air he breathed. His heart feels like it was ripped from his chest. He doesn't want to live without Damien. The Alpha's head reels as he feels the death of his little mate, and he can't figure out how to go on without him. Xavier sucks in a breath before leaning forward and screaming. Spit connects his lips as he screams while tears flow down his face and drip from his chin. The doctor works fast trying to stop the bleeding and clear out as much blood as he could so he could see. With the baby out, the doctor pulls the top of the uterus out and is shocked at how thin and weak it is. It's practically
Third Person's POV Harris slowly breathed as he held his stomach. Another nurse burst into the room and quickly began asking Harris questions. Harris almost felt dizzy with how fast everything was moving. One moment they were in the backyard relaxing, the next minute Finn was in labor, then Damien, and now he might be as well. It was all too much, too soon. Harris wasn't ready. What if they didn't have everything they needed? What if he messes up? What if he isn't good enough, and fails at being a Dad? What if it isn't a dragon, and he fails to give Atticus what he has been hoping for? Harris blinks his eyes several times and a face inches from his own comes into view. Harris realizes Atticus is holding his face. “Stop!... Everything is going to be just fine! We have everything we need and so much more. Of course, we're both going to mess up, but we're going to learn from our mistakes and do better. We're not perfect, no one is! But you will never fail at being a dad! You are going
Third Person's POV “My water broke!” Addison took a sharp breath in as Maddox rushed forward, scooping his mate into his arms and praying his little angel didn't sneeze again. No one had to say anything, it was like they worked as one mind as everyone rushed through the pack house and out the front door. The sound of two engines roared to life as the vehicles sped out racing towards the hospital. “How are you feeling? Are you in any pain?” Addison asked as she adjusted Lucian's legs over her lap. “No, not yet. Just a little discomfort in my back.” Lucian said and then slowly exhaled as his stomach became tight. Addison looked between Finn's stomach that was exposed and his face. “How bad was that one?” Addison asked when Finn's body relaxed. “Not that bad. It's just a little stronger than the Braxton Hicks.” Finn said as he rubbed his belly. The Omega closed his eyes and leaned back against Maddox as Addison caressed his stomach. Addison looked into Maddox's eyes and could
Third Person's POV As Atticus steps out the back door he breathes a sigh of relief seeing the many heaters on the patio. Fall has just arrived and Harris can't stand the cold. Dragons prefer very warm temperatures, but little dragons need and crave the heat even more. Harris' body is responding to the growing dragon in his womb, reacting as if he himself was a dragon. The smaller Alpha wears a sweater during the day while everyone else is wearing t-shirts. In the evening he snuggles inside a warm thick coat while everyone else is simply wearing long-sleeved shirts. Draven doesn't mind, in fact he loves it. He's a proud mate and father, ever protective and attentive. Their apartment is never below 78, and whenever they're snuggling or sleeping, Draven heats Atticus' body, warming their mate and growing hatchling. Addison holds the door open and watches each Alpha carefully lead their very pregnant mate out of the back door and onto the patio. Damien winces and Xavier is immediately co
Third Person's POV Harris swears his stomach wasn't this big yesterday. He feels like his stomach doubled in size overnight. Even though he's now five months pregnant, Harris was before somewhat able to hide it with large baggy shirts, but now there's no way for the Alpha to hide his ever growing abdomen. The car comes to a stop and Harris dreads stepping out of it. Especially since their little town seems so active right now. There are tons of people walking up and down the sidewalk, coming and going from each shop. Harris' hand protectively rests against his stomach, trying to hide his pregnancy. Harris nibbles on his lip before turning to look at his Alpha. “You know, we don't have to go shopping today. And, I can just get something to eat at home. Why don't we just go back!” Harris was hoping to change Atticus' mind, but the larger Alpha simply gave him a soft smile before climbing out of the car. “Damn it!” Harris cursed as he turned and looked out the window, watching all t
