Those Smiles

Haria suddenly looked at the man and tried to remember if she had actually met him or if he was one of her old friends in the city. But no matter how hard she tried, she still couldn't recognize him.

"I'm Ram Cooper. We met once in the city. When you were drowning in alcohol," the man continued when he heard no answer from Haria and he noticed that her memory about him seemed to be blank and can't really remember him. "There was even trouble that happened during that time as some bad guys tried to take advantage of your drunkenness."

A small smile appeared on Ram's face as he spoke.

Haria just smiled as well after hearing what Ram said.

"That's enough. I remember a little. It's embarrassing if you keep on telling me those moments from the past," Haria said as she turned away from the man. "Although I can't really recognize your face. Maybe it's because my mind was focused on other things. So I don't even care about what's going on around me at that time."
