Georgory's POV

Today was finally the day. My heart raced with a mix of excitement and apprehension as I stood in our bedroom, watching Emma sleep.

The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room.

Six months had passed since we found out Emma was pregnant, and now, she was unmistakably full, her belly round and prominent beneath the covers.

I could hear her soft snores, a gentle reminder of how peaceful she looked despite the whirlwind of emotions swirling around us.

With a quiet sigh, I approached the bed, my heart swelling at the sight of her. I shook her shoulder gently, murmuring her name, but she didn’t stir.

Instead, she rolled onto her side, burying her face in the pillow. I chuckled softly, shaking my head at her stubbornness.

“Emma,” I whispered into her ear, leaning down closer. “Mother is back.”

Instantly, she sprang up, her eyes wide with surprise, and in her excitement, she caught me squarely on the nose with her forehead.
