Emma’s POV:

I could not even begin to process the humiliation I felt when two park members, both women, strolled into the kitchen right after Georgory had left.

The room, I was certain, still smelled distinctly of sex. They greeted me with cheerful smiles, and I, struggling to keep my composure, just gave them a stiff nod.

My face was burning with embarrassment. Without saying anything, I practically fled the kitchen, making a quick exit up the stairs to our room.

The moment I stepped into our bedroom, I peeled off my clothes like they were on fire, and headed straight for the shower.
