The Night Before Battle Part 2

[Fallon’s POV]

Hot water runs down my skin, washing away the worry that I feel over what is to come tomorrow. All I can hope is that Fineon and the others manage to come up with a decent plan of attack so that things go smoothly and we avoid any casualties.

Although I had wanted to be present for this discussion, Fineon insisted on letting him handle it. At first, I wanted to argue and be stubborn, but in the end, I decided that this would be a good way to show him that I trusted him and his judgment.

Letting out a sigh, I reach down and turn off the water so that I can air dry for a few moments before stepping out of the shower.

The meeting should be over by now, right? So wouldn’t it be best if I was out and waiting for Fineon to tell him good job? It would be the perfect way to show him my respect and appreciation for him, right?

Smiling, I get out of the shower and wrap a towel around me while eyeing the clothes I picked out to wear to bed.
