Ezra: I frowned at the sight of the room when I walked inside to see the amount of blood that was on the floor. The nurse who was in charge of making sure that Derek was safe along with the man who I had assigned to keep him alive and safe were both lying dead on the floor. And looking at Derek, I cursed under my breath when I saw that the man was slaughtered. A knife was placed beside it, and a note on top of the dresser.
