Lia:

My heart skipped a beat as the plane landed in my home city. And I had to admit, I didn’t even know how I felt about it. Just the fact that I was here was more than enough to make me smile as memories played in my head. Memories that I sometimes forgot, or even tried to as days went on.

I was born and raised in Rome till my teenage years before we moved to New York. Little did I know that I would be regretting the move, or that I would be missing the smell and scent of the place that I grew up in. The peace that we had here, the happiness that we lived through. I didn’t appreciate it at the time, nor did I know the number of struggles that my parents have been through during that period.

“Are you okay?” Ezra asked, breaking my train of thoughts. I smiled and nodded, turning to face him as he wrapped his arm around me, pulling me to his chest.

“I just miss it here, I guess. I never really expected to after we went to the States, but it seems like my heart knows where it came f

Ezra: I ran my fingers through my wife’s hair as she lay asleep in my arms. I had to admit, the fact that our time was limited was something that I didn’t want to think of, but there was also the fact that Killian was my mate’s actual mate. The fact that he was that was something that did not slip my mind, mostly because I didn’t know how she would be taking it when he died. A mate was attached to their mates by hearts and souls, and what he was doing was breaking the bond that was given to him, it was something that I couldn’t understand or give a reason to. But I had to admit, I was actually happy that things happened the way that they did. If anything, I was the one who benefited out of it in the end. My wife was a person that I wouldn’t change for the world. Her innocence, her smile, the way she talked, walked, and even acted. Everything about her was an addiction to me, something that I couldn’t get tired of, and I didn’t even think that I could ever be tired of it. I le

Lia:“What the fucking hell happened just now?” Ezra asked as he hung up the phone. I shook my head, feeling just as confused as he was. I was just as surprised as he was, and was wondering how things got to where they were, but these were things that we shouldn’t be asking at this moment. “I don’t know, but I don’t want to jinx it.” I said, and Ezra frowned. He put his phone in his pocket and took a deep breath before nodding. His eyes which had been gentle earlier today were now hard with determination. I knew that he was still worried, there was no denying that. But I also knew that his mother’s words had encouraged him more than anything else could have. At least, I knew that something was going right in this after all. The man has been going through a mental battle since he saw her reaction yesterday, and I was thankful that he was at least able to get over it. At least, he knew that he wasn’t alone in this.In theory, he wasn’t alone, I was going to support him till the very en

Ezra:I looked at Lia whose eyes showed fear in them.I had to admit, this was the first time that I have seen the blade to begin with. I was often surprised that we never found pictures of them, and when I did ask my father, he never answered. But after seeing the radiation and beauty of the thing was one that I never really saw. The details that were drawn, and the power surge that I felt in the room was one that I never felt before. I moved away from Lia and walked to one of the drawers, my weaponry drawer, and pulled out a holster and strap. They were ones that Arturo used to use when he had his daggers, he stopped using blades a while later though, and now we mostly depended on our guns if needed. I had to admit, the attacks and fights that we got into have lessened over the years, not that they were needed, but considering the history of how things used to go, and now, yeah, our lives were a whole lot easier now.I got down on my knee in front of my wife whose eyes widened in s

Lia: The plane landed, and I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my lips as Ezra and I got up to get off of it. I had to admit, despite having the blade strapped on my thigh, I was surprised that no one even stopped us to check whether or not we had any weapons as we entered the airport. It could be the fact that Ezra was a known man, but I still thought and feared that they would. “Welcome home, bambina.” Ezra said, catching my attention. I smiled and took his hand in mine, gently squeezing it as the two of us got out of the plane and toward the cars that were waiting for us. Armando, who was here to pick us up, smiled as he approached us, he wrapped his arm around me as he pulled me in for a quick hug before turning to his Alpha. “Welcome home.” He said, and Ezra smirked. “I have barely been gone two days, and yet, you guys are missing us already.” Ezra teased and Armando laughed before opening the car’s door for me. He motioned for me to get inside and nodded, and I did as

Ezra:I ran as I tried to find my wife. Her scent filled my nostrils, and I could hear her calling for me. But the closer I got to her voice, the further it would go.“Ezra…” she called again, this time, her voice closer to me, behind me. “Ezra, I need your help.”“Lia, I’ve got you.” I said, trying to approach her only for her body to be pulled away from me. I screamed, running after her only to stop when I was surrounded. The floor beneath my feet cracked, and I fell through. I screamed, trying to hold onto anything, but suddenly there was nothing, and I was just in the middle of the sky.I gasped, my body waking faster than I ever thought that it would, and frowned when I opened my eyes to find myself at the hospital. My vision blurred as I tried adjusting to the light in the room as I tried recalling what happened before I got here. Who I was with or where I was only for my heart to drop to my stomach when I processed what happened or was happening to be more specific. I tried s

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 63

Lia: “Let me out!” I snapped, trying to break the bars that kept me in this cell. “Killian, brother, bringing her here was not the best of ideas.” I heard Annalise, the woman who I remembered as his sister, say. Her eyes met mine and I growled, snapping one of the bars. Killian shook his head at me and nodded at his sister to leave. “Killian…” “Now, Annalise.” He said, not bothering to give her a second glance. He waited until she was out of the place before he unlocked the cell. I went to immediately punch him only for him to hold both my hands in his, stopping me. “You are one feisty wolf.” His expression was calm, amused, even happy? The man was bloody mental if he was enjoying this if you asked me. “Let me go, Killian.” I snapped, glaring at him. “You’re going to try and poke my eyes...” “I was not going to poke them, darling, I intended to pull them out of their sockets.” I said, glaring at him. “Now, I can’t have that, can I?” He asked, smiling at me. Ezra: “Ezra, where the fuck are you going?” Dad asked, frowning when he entered my room to find me getting up from bed. I was thankful for the fact that they brought my clothes here for me to change as requested. Though mom and dad weren’t really aware of that order, I wasn’t stupid as not to know that the maids who got the clothes weren’t already aware that I planned on getting things done. Them being as secretive as they were to keep from having anyone stopping them was the main reason why I knew that I made the right choice with trusting them when I did. “Plus, where on Earth did you get your clothes from? Fucks sake, Ezra, you are still injured.” “Ezra, son, you need to rest…” “Time is running, my wife isn’t here, and I don’t have the Lycan bitch here. So, you can guess that I am going to get her and get my wife back as well. Now, you two can either come with me or choose to stay here, but I am not going to let time tick while I don’t even know where my wife is.” I said, stoppin

Lia:I whimpered at the feeling of my aching bones and muscles. My hands held on a blanket as if my life depended on it, and despite remembering that I slept on a cold floor, I woke up on a comfortable bed.I frowned, and sat up to find myself in a bedroom. My heart raced and I couldn’t help the low growl that escaped my chest as I caught sight of Killian who was sitting on the couch beside the bed, scrolling through his phone. “You really need to stop acting as stubborn as you are. I am not here to hurt you, and I am literally doing my very best to be nice to you, and yet, nothing seems to be working.” “Killian, I swear that you are driving me insane. You kidnapped me from my home, my husband, and are claiming that you are trying to be nice to me? How far can your madness go?” I asked, and he sighed, shaking his head as he put his phone down. “Ezra was never supposed to be with you, and that is something that you have to keep in mind. His eyes widened as they suddenly opened, his heart beating for the first time in weeks. That out of breath heavy one. One that he did not expect. His eyes searched around the tomb that he was in. Trying to process how he had gotten in here in the first place before his memory played back. The man had died. He was killed. He had kicked twice, but he didn’t open. Therefore, he chose to break it, punching it with a force that had it crashing on top of him. Sand fell on the man, but he didn’t care. He dug himself out, fearing that he was dead inside a tomb. In reality, he was. But he was yet to process that he came back from life, he came back from a different world, and that was something that was going to change a lot in him. He growled, getting out of the hole that he was in, taking a deep breath as he inhaled his oxygen. People who were around him, watching the scene, having initially come to visit their loved ones tried to flee. However, he didn’t really care. He stood up tryin

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 98

Ezra:“I didn’t want to speak in front of Lia, but what the hell happened?” I asked, frowning at my brother as we entered my office. We were back at New York’s Estate. However, I still couldn’t understand everything that we have lived through back at Rome, literally nothing made sense and that was something that I was well aware of. I didn’t even need to explain how wrong everything was to my brother, the man already knew.“I have no idea. But whatever it is, I really don’t know how this is going to lead us. Why did he drag us all the way to Rome when he could have killed her here?” Alvize asked, frowning in confusion. He was right, the two of us couldn’t understand anything that happened. Mom didn’t know what happened just yet, but I knew that when she heard, she was not going to be happy about it. I still didn’t even know how we were going to deal with Andromeda. The demon was going to put us through hell for this. And we weren’t even the reason behind her daughter’s death, but how

Lia: I looked at the woman, Annalise, who stood in front of us, shifted to a complete wolf. However she had done it. I don’t know, but I assumed that she had shifted before the moon rose. Regardless of what we told her and the facts that she knew, the woman didn’t seem to care. She was determined to lose her life here and now, and that was not something that we could allow. We at least needed this night to end without problems. Annalise had completely lost her mind, and that was something that I was sure of. Killian looked at the two of us, smirking as he watched his sister approaching. Alvize wrapped his arm around me and pulled me back from the two Lycans, not wanting me to get hurt. I knew that he needed me alive. I had to be the one to kill Killian. The blade was with me and not with Ezra, but that didn’t mean that they wouldn’t hurt my husband and that was not something that I wanted. “You heard me, Ezra D’Caprio.” Annalise said, threatening my husband. I looked at Ezra, wait

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 96

EzraMy wife and I ran through the hallways of the house. This mansion was huge, and needless to say, I understood what she meant by every single door here was named after her. She didn’t only mean that garden store, literally every single door was named after her. Most of the doors were locked, and only unlocked when we said Annalise. Either Killian was obsessed with the woman, or someone else had bought the house, and knowing Killian, I was sure that it wasn’t him that wanted every door to be named after the woman. The man proved to everyone that he did not like the woman. If anything, he has always tried to get rid of her, either by getting her married or by sending her on a mission that would kill her. The last of them was him knowing that she was within a relationship with the demon and yet not stopping it. How he had known and had the heart for it, I didn’t understand. However, I didn’t bother questioning it. At this point, all common sense wasn’t real, and if anything, I doubt

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 95

Lia:I had to fight the urge to snap the man’s neck as I glared at him. I knew that it wouldn’t help me. The man needed to be stabbed in the heart. Making sure that he took his last breath. It was the only way that he would die. A blade in the heart. While looking him in the eye, making sure that it was deep enough for him to die.Annalise took a slow step back. Trying to flee my anger, however, I simply laughed, mocking her as my husband stood by my side. He wrapped his arm around my waist as he pulled me closer, making sure to keep his eyes on the Lycans who were afraid. “Now, you know that we couldn’t do anything and that the two of us were weak. The two of us were nothing.” I said, recalling the Lycan’s insulting words when he had me captive in his house. It was something that I wouldn’t forget or forgive him for. The pain and anger that I have lived through was one that would forever be stuck in my head. “Yeah, how many words have you said so far?”I knew that I was taunting the

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 94

EzraI stayed quiet for a few seconds as I looked at the doors that opened, revealing the mansion that we were going to enter. Annalise let out a sigh of relief, clearly happy that we had arrived ‘safely’. She didn’t know the consequences that came with this arrival.Though they were unaware of our hands and my feet being free, the two of us stayed completely still, not wanting them to find out just yet. Things needed to take time, however this time was not on our side, we needed to work fast. It was the night where everything was going to end. Otherwise it was as though going to end.“Get them out.” Annalise said, glaring at the men. Her orders towards the men made them flinch. However, they did not dare to object as they opened the door for us. I stayed still, looking at the woman, watching as the men approached us. My wife’s expression was calm, and I knew that it was something that somewhat frightened the men and the Lycan who stood in front of us. The last thing she expected was

Lia: I sat in back of the truck, looking at my husband’s reflection as he smirked. Having just arrived in Rome, the woman was taking us to the Estate, at least, I think that it was one, for all of this to end. Ezra and I shifted the other night in the plane, leading the cabin crew, Annalise, and three of her brother’s men to be afraid of us. They had to put us to sleep to ensure that we didn’t kill them. Flashback: My body forced me to shift as the full moon rose in the sky. Though we were in the plane, our wolves could feel the rise of the moon, so we shifted. “What the fuck is going on?” Annalise asked, hearing our growls as she walked toward the compartment that we were in. I looked at my husband who nodded before the two of us got ready in the shadow. “What the fuck are the two of you going on about? You are already fed…” Ezra jumped on the woman first causing her to stumble back before I went to grab her arm. A man tried attacking me; however, I jumped on his arm, biting

Ezra: “What the fuck do you mean by the man left to Rome?” I asked, glaring at Francesco who looked down at his feet, avoiding my eyes, clearly wanting to run away from it. I knew that the last thing he needed was to get in the middle of this. The man was assigned to make sure that Killian didn’t even reach the airport; therefore for him to just easily escape, now that was something that I couldn’t understand. “Boss…” “Do not ‘boss’ me. I want direct responses. YOU, Bruno, and Valdez were assigned to…” “He killed them, Alpha.” He said, making me frown before the smell of blood filled my nostrils as he raised his shirt and bandage. Lia gasped, and I knew that she wasn’t looking at me or Francesco, her face wasn’t even directed at us. “Ezra…” “Not now, Lia.” I said, rushing to the man’s side. I wrapped my arm around the man, noticing that his intestines were showing. However he made it here, I didn’t know, but I didn’t intend on asking to find out. “Ezra!” Lia snapped, making me f

Lia:I watched as Ezra walked out of the basement where the cells were and frowned when I saw his anger in his eyes.Donatello, who was standing beside me, shook his head, motioning for me not to interfere.I knew that the man would need a little time to process what happened, and though I knew that he wouldn’t be taking it as easy as one, two, and three. He needed time to allow himself to digest everything that he has been going through, and to begin with, he needed time to actually think straight.“Donatello, I can’t just leave him to handle this on his own.” I said, looking at the man who shook his head at me.“For now, he needs to process what has happened. I know that it would be hard for you to leave him alone in this state. Especially as his mate, you would be finding the urge to want to go to him. But he needs to be able to think straight before the two of you can talk.” He said, and despite the pain that I felt at knowing that my mate was hurt, I was forced to stand still. Hi
