Lia:

I stood by the living room’s door, debating on whether or not to walk inside. And it wasn’t until Ezra wrapped his arm around my waist, snapping me out of my daze that I felt somewhat frightened of what I was going to hear.

The fact that the woman was my aunt was something, but the number of questions that I had playing in my head were countless, and the thing was, I didn’t even know how I would be able to voice them out. All I knew was that I was scared of the consequences of what I was going to hear.

“Ezra, what if things end up going against everything that we are planning?” I asked, looking at my husband who smiled at me. He kissed my temple before nodding in assurance.

“We have to trust that things will take the right path. One way or the other, we have to find out what it is.” He said, and I nodded. I took a deep breath before he opened the door for me, watching as I walked inside before he followed me.

“I see that your husband has finally managed to calm you down.” Sh

Ezra:I stared at Lia who sat on the edge of the bed without saying a word. It has been a while since the two of us have gone back up to the bedroom, and despite knowing that I had a few things to tend to, I knew that I couldn’t just leave her to deal with her anger on her own. It was something that I was completely against, and seeing as I knew that she wouldn’t even speak to voice out what she was saying, I chose to simply stay by her side.“You know that I won’t do anything crazy, Ezra. You can choose to go where you need to.” Lia said, not bothering to look up at me. This was her fourth time asking me to leave, and though I knew that it was because she wanted to be alone, wanting, or more specifically, needing to digest what she had just heard, I chose not to leave. I didn’t want her dealing with such pain on her own, it was something that I was against, and was not going to allow.“Lia, neonata, I am your husband, and the last thing I want to do is leave you alone in such a situ

Lia:I looked at Ezra whose eyes avoided mine as the two of us entered the living room. His mum has been sitting there, waiting for us to enter for the past ten minutes, and seeing as Ezra was somewhat nervous, the two of us took our slow time before entering the room. The fact that the woman was still upset with her son for wanting to send her away to Italy was not hidden from anyone, and the fact that he knew who I was and lied to her was a whole other story. The woman piled everything in, and this was just going to be another lie that she was going to hold against me. Ezra was her son, and in the end, she would somehow forgive him, but when it came to me, I didn’t know where things were going. We walked inside, and I took a deep breath as I put in the best smile that I could muster. There was no point backing out now. We were already in here, and we both knew that we were going to do what had to happen.“Mama,” Ezra said, making his mum look up at him from the magazine that she was

Maria:I entered my bedroom with a heavy heart as I processed what Ezra had told me. The fact that he was set on this goal was enough to kill me, and the fact that he didn’t understand the consequences that followed didn’t make things any better. My heart throbbed, and I sat on the edge of the bed allowing myself to cry for the first time since the attack at the airport. I couldn’t blame the men. Neither one of them knew about the existence of the other until they were old enough to become enemies. It was something that killed me inside, but knowing that I had to protect him, I was forced to stay quiet.I ran my fingers through my hair, pulling on the roots as I shook my head. Killian shouldn’t have come back here. He and Annalise, the woman he believed was his sister, should have stayed where they belonged away from here. The bedroom’s door opened, revealing my mate. The man who I was thankful for having around. I knew that he could have killed them that night, I knew that it was

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 56

Ezra: I looked out the window, my heart aching at the fact that my mother has not only crossed so many limits, but has also asked me to disregard everything that happened with the Lycan. The pain that I saw in her eyes was one that I didn’t even understand, but considering the fact that she was even trying to talk me out of speaking to the man who killed her children, now that is something that I did not understand. Sure, she didn’t know about him being the one who did it before, but now that she did, now that she knew that Lia’s family was innocent, why didn’t she want the man to pay for the pain that he caused us and the pack. The Lycan didn’t only settle to killing my younger siblings, but many of the pack members have lost their family members that day. Whether it was parents, lovers, mates, siblings or children. Each one of us has had their own share of pain that night, and it was one that we still remembered on a daily basis. Rather than celebrating a wedding that we had in t

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 57

Lia: My heart skipped a beat as the plane landed in my home city. And I had to admit, I didn’t even know how I felt about it. Just the fact that I was here was more than enough to make me smile as memories played in my head. Memories that I sometimes forgot, or even tried to as days went on. I was born and raised in Rome till my teenage years before we moved to New York. Little did I know that I would be regretting the move, or that I would be missing the smell and scent of the place that I grew up in. The peace that we had here, the happiness that we lived through. I didn’t appreciate it at the time, nor did I know the number of struggles that my parents have been through during that period. “Are you okay?” Ezra asked, breaking my train of thoughts. I smiled and nodded, turning to face him as he wrapped his arm around me, pulling me to his chest. “I just miss it here, I guess. I never really expected to after we went to the States, but it seems like my heart knows where it came f

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 58

Ezra: I ran my fingers through my wife’s hair as she lay asleep in my arms. I had to admit, the fact that our time was limited was something that I didn’t want to think of, but there was also the fact that Killian was my mate’s actual mate. The fact that he was that was something that did not slip my mind, mostly because I didn’t know how she would be taking it when he died. A mate was attached to their mates by hearts and souls, and what he was doing was breaking the bond that was given to him, it was something that I couldn’t understand or give a reason to. But I had to admit, I was actually happy that things happened the way that they did. If anything, I was the one who benefited out of it in the end. My wife was a person that I wouldn’t change for the world. Her innocence, her smile, the way she talked, walked, and even acted. Everything about her was an addiction to me, something that I couldn’t get tired of, and I didn’t even think that I could ever be tired of it. I le

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 59

Lia:“What the fucking hell happened just now?” Ezra asked as he hung up the phone. I shook my head, feeling just as confused as he was. I was just as surprised as he was, and was wondering how things got to where they were, but these were things that we shouldn’t be asking at this moment. “I don’t know, but I don’t want to jinx it.” I said, and Ezra frowned. He put his phone in his pocket and took a deep breath before nodding. His eyes which had been gentle earlier today were now hard with determination. I knew that he was still worried, there was no denying that. But I also knew that his mother’s words had encouraged him more than anything else could have. At least, I knew that something was going right in this after all. The man has been going through a mental battle since he saw her reaction yesterday, and I was thankful that he was at least able to get over it. At least, he knew that he wasn’t alone in this.In theory, he wasn’t alone, I was going to support him till the very en

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 60

Ezra:I looked at Lia whose eyes showed fear in them.I had to admit, this was the first time that I have seen the blade to begin with. I was often surprised that we never found pictures of them, and when I did ask my father, he never answered. But after seeing the radiation and beauty of the thing was one that I never really saw. The details that were drawn, and the power surge that I felt in the room was one that I never felt before. I moved away from Lia and walked to one of the drawers, my weaponry drawer, and pulled out a holster and strap. They were ones that Arturo used to use when he had his daggers, he stopped using blades a while later though, and now we mostly depended on our guns if needed. I had to admit, the attacks and fights that we got into have lessened over the years, not that they were needed, but considering the history of how things used to go, and now, yeah, our lives were a whole lot easier now.I got down on my knee in front of my wife whose eyes widened in s

His eyes widened as they suddenly opened, his heart beating for the first time in weeks. That out of breath heavy one. One that he did not expect. His eyes searched around the tomb that he was in. Trying to process how he had gotten in here in the first place before his memory played back. The man had died. He was killed. He had kicked twice, but he didn’t open. Therefore, he chose to break it, punching it with a force that had it crashing on top of him. Sand fell on the man, but he didn’t care. He dug himself out, fearing that he was dead inside a tomb. In reality, he was. But he was yet to process that he came back from life, he came back from a different world, and that was something that was going to change a lot in him. He growled, getting out of the hole that he was in, taking a deep breath as he inhaled his oxygen. People who were around him, watching the scene, having initially come to visit their loved ones tried to flee. However, he didn’t really care. He stood up tryin

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 98

Ezra:“I didn’t want to speak in front of Lia, but what the hell happened?” I asked, frowning at my brother as we entered my office. We were back at New York’s Estate. However, I still couldn’t understand everything that we have lived through back at Rome, literally nothing made sense and that was something that I was well aware of. I didn’t even need to explain how wrong everything was to my brother, the man already knew.“I have no idea. But whatever it is, I really don’t know how this is going to lead us. Why did he drag us all the way to Rome when he could have killed her here?” Alvize asked, frowning in confusion. He was right, the two of us couldn’t understand anything that happened. Mom didn’t know what happened just yet, but I knew that when she heard, she was not going to be happy about it. I still didn’t even know how we were going to deal with Andromeda. The demon was going to put us through hell for this. And we weren’t even the reason behind her daughter’s death, but how

Lia: I looked at the woman, Annalise, who stood in front of us, shifted to a complete wolf. However she had done it. I don’t know, but I assumed that she had shifted before the moon rose. Regardless of what we told her and the facts that she knew, the woman didn’t seem to care. She was determined to lose her life here and now, and that was not something that we could allow. We at least needed this night to end without problems. Annalise had completely lost her mind, and that was something that I was sure of. Killian looked at the two of us, smirking as he watched his sister approaching. Alvize wrapped his arm around me and pulled me back from the two Lycans, not wanting me to get hurt. I knew that he needed me alive. I had to be the one to kill Killian. The blade was with me and not with Ezra, but that didn’t mean that they wouldn’t hurt my husband and that was not something that I wanted. “You heard me, Ezra D’Caprio.” Annalise said, threatening my husband. I looked at Ezra, wait

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 96

EzraMy wife and I ran through the hallways of the house. This mansion was huge, and needless to say, I understood what she meant by every single door here was named after her. She didn’t only mean that garden store, literally every single door was named after her. Most of the doors were locked, and only unlocked when we said Annalise. Either Killian was obsessed with the woman, or someone else had bought the house, and knowing Killian, I was sure that it wasn’t him that wanted every door to be named after the woman. The man proved to everyone that he did not like the woman. If anything, he has always tried to get rid of her, either by getting her married or by sending her on a mission that would kill her. The last of them was him knowing that she was within a relationship with the demon and yet not stopping it. How he had known and had the heart for it, I didn’t understand. However, I didn’t bother questioning it. At this point, all common sense wasn’t real, and if anything, I doubt

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 95

Lia:I had to fight the urge to snap the man’s neck as I glared at him. I knew that it wouldn’t help me. The man needed to be stabbed in the heart. Making sure that he took his last breath. It was the only way that he would die. A blade in the heart. While looking him in the eye, making sure that it was deep enough for him to die.Annalise took a slow step back. Trying to flee my anger, however, I simply laughed, mocking her as my husband stood by my side. He wrapped his arm around my waist as he pulled me closer, making sure to keep his eyes on the Lycans who were afraid. “Now, you know that we couldn’t do anything and that the two of us were weak. The two of us were nothing.” I said, recalling the Lycan’s insulting words when he had me captive in his house. It was something that I wouldn’t forget or forgive him for. The pain and anger that I have lived through was one that would forever be stuck in my head. “Yeah, how many words have you said so far?”I knew that I was taunting the

EzraI stayed quiet for a few seconds as I looked at the doors that opened, revealing the mansion that we were going to enter. Annalise let out a sigh of relief, clearly happy that we had arrived ‘safely’. She didn’t know the consequences that came with this arrival.Though they were unaware of our hands and my feet being free, the two of us stayed completely still, not wanting them to find out just yet. Things needed to take time, however this time was not on our side, we needed to work fast. It was the night where everything was going to end. Otherwise it was as though going to end.“Get them out.” Annalise said, glaring at the men. Her orders towards the men made them flinch. However, they did not dare to object as they opened the door for us. I stayed still, looking at the woman, watching as the men approached us. My wife’s expression was calm, and I knew that it was something that somewhat frightened the men and the Lycan who stood in front of us. The last thing she expected was

Lia: I sat in back of the truck, looking at my husband’s reflection as he smirked. Having just arrived in Rome, the woman was taking us to the Estate, at least, I think that it was one, for all of this to end. Ezra and I shifted the other night in the plane, leading the cabin crew, Annalise, and three of her brother’s men to be afraid of us. They had to put us to sleep to ensure that we didn’t kill them. Flashback: My body forced me to shift as the full moon rose in the sky. Though we were in the plane, our wolves could feel the rise of the moon, so we shifted. “What the fuck is going on?” Annalise asked, hearing our growls as she walked toward the compartment that we were in. I looked at my husband who nodded before the two of us got ready in the shadow. “What the fuck are the two of you going on about? You are already fed…” Ezra jumped on the woman first causing her to stumble back before I went to grab her arm. A man tried attacking me; however, I jumped on his arm, biting

  • Alpha Ezra   Chapter 92

Ezra: “What the fuck do you mean by the man left to Rome?” I asked, glaring at Francesco who looked down at his feet, avoiding my eyes, clearly wanting to run away from it. I knew that the last thing he needed was to get in the middle of this. The man was assigned to make sure that Killian didn’t even reach the airport; therefore for him to just easily escape, now that was something that I couldn’t understand. “Boss…” “Do not ‘boss’ me. I want direct responses. YOU, Bruno, and Valdez were assigned to…” “He killed them, Alpha.” He said, making me frown before the smell of blood filled my nostrils as he raised his shirt and bandage. Lia gasped, and I knew that she wasn’t looking at me or Francesco, her face wasn’t even directed at us. “Ezra…” “Not now, Lia.” I said, rushing to the man’s side. I wrapped my arm around the man, noticing that his intestines were showing. However he made it here, I didn’t know, but I didn’t intend on asking to find out. “Ezra!” Lia snapped, making me f

Lia:I watched as Ezra walked out of the basement where the cells were and frowned when I saw his anger in his eyes.Donatello, who was standing beside me, shook his head, motioning for me not to interfere.I knew that the man would need a little time to process what happened, and though I knew that he wouldn’t be taking it as easy as one, two, and three. He needed time to allow himself to digest everything that he has been going through, and to begin with, he needed time to actually think straight.“Donatello, I can’t just leave him to handle this on his own.” I said, looking at the man who shook his head at me.“For now, he needs to process what has happened. I know that it would be hard for you to leave him alone in this state. Especially as his mate, you would be finding the urge to want to go to him. But he needs to be able to think straight before the two of you can talk.” He said, and despite the pain that I felt at knowing that my mate was hurt, I was forced to stand still. Hi
