CHAPTER 89:
After waking up, she got up and started looking for her journal in the drawers instead of going to the bathroom.
She knew Ezequiel was not home. She could not feel his presence. Opening the journal she stared at the tracking record of her monthly cycles.
Opening the calendar portion she saw red marks on previous months. Three months back it was 12 then it was 11 and then last month it got 10.
She got her cycles late when she was sixteen but once she got them, they always made on time. This month it was ten fucking days past her due date.
Muttering to herself she dug in her tote bag and produced a packed test kit from it. Yesterday she got it from Clara. She had an extra set and advised her to use it right after waking up.
After a few moments, seated on a toilet seat, her head was hanging down, with her long red hair touching the bathroom floor.
